You are kidding me?Personally, I don't want a billionaire benefactor. It doesn't count. Rather do it sustainably, like Liverpool look like they might. Make our own history.

Profit/Loss
Total loss before taxation was £49.8M.
Other figures
The club reported net debt had dropped to £69M (from £81M).
This was helped by a £46.8M injection from FSG into the business to clear a historic stadium loan facility.

Plus I think they got massively in debt to build this team, so they are 'buying the title' if they win it. Tell their fans it 'doesn't count', I doubt they care. Tell the City fans as they nicked the title off Utd on the last day, 'it doesn't count', I doubt they care. Tell the Chelsea fans as they became the only London club to win the European Cup/CL 'it doesn't count ... etc etc
They don't care. I would.
Rather not have a billionaire from a country with a more than questionable human rights record in charge. I'd rather not be owned by tax avoiders either in the interests of balance.
Re: following Liverpool's route, we make money. We buy decent players. Put in a good coach, back him and who knows what will happen?
lol yup
Yep, you were, my mistake.Obviously. I'm saying I don't like the fact our current owner is a tax exile, sucking money from public funds to build our new ground.
Yep, you were, my mistake.
But can you show me where Livepool have made money?
The last time he went all in he lost: http://www.theguardian.com/business/2008/mar/22/creditcrunch.moneyinvestmentsWhy doesn't Joe Lewis go all in? Guy is 77. Might as well see Spurs win shit before you die, Joe. Can't take all that money with you to your grave.
