Not sure how to feel to be honest. Ownership isn’t changing. Levy and Lewis families still hold the power. We may be sold but it will be to some bunch of evil devils. The new CEO is a failed gooner twat too and fans will continue to be screwed. It’s not as if modern football is suddenly good again.

Pretty sure read the Lewis Trust were keen to sell and Levy was pretty much forced to stand down by them as wasn’t keen

Just because you dont understand, it doesn't mean you're right.
ENIC Group (formerly English National Investment Company) is a British investment company. ENIC is owned by the family trust of Joe Lewis. ENIC's subsidiary, ENIC International Limited, currently holds 86.58% of the total issued share capital of English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. Club chairman Daniel Levy and his family own 29.88% of the share capital of ENIC International Limited, while a discretionary trust of Lewis's family owns 70.12%.

Just quitting while he’s ahead. He’s been doing it for a long time; probably fed up of going to games and feeling the heat of the jeers: the club have just won a big trophy; strengthened the squad; the club’s stable - he can start going to matches as a fan now (albeit in the fancy seats) and just endure the helter-skelter world of Spurs.

Let’s hope the next phase is more consistently successful on the field, but keeps us stable.

Thanks for the stadium and the team and the two trophies, Daniel - but I think this is a good time you chose.

COYS.

inthink it’s unrelated to a takeover. It’s probably more likely now but I think he’s realised for a year he’s done and planned accordingly
If that was the case surely he'd of left soon after lifting the Europa league? The timing of it all tells me there's either a change in ownership coming or we're going to start acting like an elite club and operating very differently. Either one requires Levy to not be the main decision maker.

The only thing that will increase new owners investment will be winning on the pitch because pulling this lever will maximise sponsorship deals. Even though our revenue streams are on a par with all bar United our sponsorships lag behind significantly.

9th largest revenues in europe - but behind Man City, Man U, Liverpool, Woolwich and just above Chelsea with a number of other PL clubs in pursuit.

Sponsorship money gets built up over years - Liverpool's for example are built on sponsorships which started when they were a top club in the 80's. Spurs currently have one of the fastest growing commercial revenues in PL, but it started from a low base.
