They were, but they needed a vote of something like 80% of the board to remove him. And while he was making them money hand over foot, and increasing the valuation of the club, until recently it looked like sitting pretty was their course. And ENIC seemingly had no interest in actually acting like owners.
But with the blocked sponsorship deals and sales, I think they've decided that a shift needed to happen. And now that the biggest blocker is gone, I don't see them just deciding not sell up. Also having Stavely sniffing around for months is fishy. My theory which I'm sore is wrong, that there's a sale to be had, on the condition that he's removed.
We can see something changed that we bought 4 players that go straight into the 1st 11 this summer. Thats almost half the outfield. Im excited to see what they can do in January. Its clearly a change in direction.

So according to the BBC and various sources, the Lewis kids and grandkids dont like Levy and actually want to have a good team.

I remember that as many on here took levy’s side especially with getting in no signings. They all said poch is the problem & levy is right. How wrong can you get!. 6 years later look at the state of us. Miles away from being as good as the poch era.

Don’t know about imminent but I feel certain the club is getting sold. ENIC have taken it far as they can, time to cash in their chips and walk away with a billion or 2.
