He should have got himself a loan deal at least. Hanging around like a bad smell for a year is a shit option for him and us.
Seriously, that's not a bad idea. Do you really want young players training with a guy willing to waste his career like Rose has done?We should take him up on his offer to train at home. Don't want him corrupting our youngsters.
I just got the shock of my life - a transfer for Danny Rose on the BBC website - unfortunately it's not the one who is still on our books
He's moving from Mansfield to Northampton.
You've answered your own question there mate.he managed to play for Newcastle at the end of last season and it is surprising that no one has come in for him.
So are we not able to sell him to a Portuguese club seeing as their window doesn't shut until the end of the month? Or are his only option the Championship and other PL clubs at this point?
Think you answer your own question ...It's interesting how we detest it when players we like and rate leave (Mod, Bale, Berbs, Walker) and demand their loyalty but when the ones we don't like don't leave we treat them with vitriolic contempt.
Does loyalty not work both ways? Or do we only want the 'good' players to be loyal?
For the record it's clear and has been for some time he's no future at Spurs but I won't condemn him for not fucking off to clubs he feels are not right for him (not sure who they are). If he'd fucked off 3 or 4 years ago people would've been fuming with him and the club.
I think the club got this badly wrong and should've looked to replace him when the first whiff of trouble started and his stock was very high. Rose is Rose, it was up to the management (Poch and Levy) to deal with him. Good luck to him wherever he ends up, he was with us a very long time and had some very good years.
