Desperately needs a top class DM in front of him. No wonder he is quality for Colombia and when we had Dembele. With Winks, Sissoko or Hojberg in front of you, you will suffer.

Video of Argentina's first goal.
Great pass by Gio, I took screenshots of the pass and posted on the Gio thread.

But what is Davinson doing after Messi gets the ball? He doesn't help Mina close down Messi, nor does he pressure Lautaro. Just stands off and lets Lautaro shoot...

If he closes down Messi, leaves Lautaro with even mor space. If he marks Lautaro, he leaves Mina 1 v 1 with Messi. I don’t think his decision was that bad.

Colombia deserved to win.

Luis Díaz as a transfer target, anyone?

I’ve barely watched him outside of tonight, but he looked good. Creative, hard working and ambitious.

Mina actually got his foot on the ball and knocked it a foot in front of Messi.

As usual though, Barrios was the best player on the park.

I agree that Barrios was the best player on the park, but Luis Díaz was also spectacular. He successfully completed 11 dribbles and scored another amazing goal.

I am surprised Barrios is still at Zenit.
