Player Dejan Kulusevski

Why don't Spurs fans aim high?

Why settle for an unsure average player ffs!

So much money wasted on transfers. add £10-£20m and get a decent proven player from the PL, stop importing cheap prospects which hasn't been working or import known good players

Let's be honest, you don't have a scooby fucking do about players, do you.

You're closer to being a clownshoe than you are to being a scout, so shit down and shut up ya big bald fuck.

Don't agree on this one.

have seen enough to know how talented the player is.

If he did go back, then fine but would be more confident in him regaining his form than the club spending 30m to find a better player.
Then spend 40m or 50m on a better player.

Buy cheap buy twice. That's what's been happening at this club, when are we going to learn? So many players the club purchased, see the dead wood list.

He's been poor since January, he lost his place in the starting XI for a reason, why sign him? I can't see the logic.

It amazes me that peoples basic stance is that our poor form is down to the fact we have 15 players playing poorly / not good enough instead of us having poor coaching, tactics and morale affecting everyone’s performance (except Kane).

Well this guy can't start a game because he ain't good enough, why sign him?
Based on this season, who in our squad is good enough? For 30m it's worth signing him with the hope that his form this season is due to the turbulence around the club, and that under a (hopefully) competent manager he will get back to last season's form.

His replacement in the side cost £60m and has 1/2 the goals and 2/3 of the assists that Kulusevski has posted this season in the PL.

You think a team can simply change formation? And DURING the season no less??

What kind of fucking madman are you???
Not sure if this is ironic or not but plenty of teams change formation in the first half of a game, so I don’t think it’s radical to tweak mid season - especially when we’ve literally been dominated in every game this far

GOAT GOAT

Why don't you man up and answer my question?!

What question. There was no question because you proceeded the question with a false statement. It was a loaded question and therefore doesn't need to be anwered, because the question was wrong.

Why don't YOU man up and just admit you're even dumber than Dumb and Dumber?

We bought Richarlison, Ndombele and Sanchez for a combined £165m so I'm not sure what your point is here, expensive players can flop as well.

He's been poor since Jan but what player has been good this season, Kane obviously because he's World Class...Bentancur was good before he got injured - that tells you the symptom may not be the player(s) but rather the circumstance, tactics/coaching etc...

From what I've seen he has a lot of potential that an attacking coach can get a lot out of so we should sign him, 12 assists in his initial 5 months is something that can be worked on, we can't just throw that away because he's not hit those same heights.

The way some of you look at footballers is mental, you are quick to throw them on the scrapheap when they have a down period and buy someone else to replace them not even thinking that the same thing could happen to their replacement.

Is anyone seriously trying to argue Richarlison has been anything but a fucking disaster though?

Play him in behind 2 strikers. Pace is not a massive thing in that area of the pitch. He can see a pass and I’d like to see him shoot more. He can drive with the ball and doing that from central will cause more problems. Getting the price down is a no brainer. With the right system and him in the right position he’ll be fresher and sharper. The 3-4-3 formation drains the life out of the two wide attackers. Sonny and Deki look jaded and have nothing left in the tank.
As a wide player we need so much more pace. In fact we need that all over the pitch. We have no fear factor. If you kill Kane’s space then we have nothing.

I’m now at the stage where i wouldn’t be that fussed if Kane moved on if we were going to get a quicker, more vibrant energetic team with a manager that is allowed to build with a different style to what we’ve seen for the last 4 years.

21 starts out of 28 league games he's been available for is hardly not being able to start a game.

You mean recently Ryan Mason prefers playing a 4:4:2 with richarlison up front instead of Kulu.

anyway lets say we had 40 million to spend on a wide attacker, who do people think we should releastically sign instead, considering we'll be a europa conference league team at best next season with a none big name manager ?

and please. no 18 year old french/belgium kids playing for tiny clubs with a youtube showreel full of stepovers and 'pace'

It's not that we need to bring in a direct replacement this season. If we do not keep Kulu, that money better go to a CB or GK.

We have options we can use as a backup winger if needed. If it's down to keeping Kulu or having an extra 40m for a top defender, I want the defender.
