His decision making already stands out. Numerous times in past, we have seen our other right wingers - Lucas & Lamela, more often than not take the wrong decision - to say shoot on sight or make wrong passes ,when just look up & pass 5 yards would do

Even though its just 15min, can already see his decision making is miles better

1 or 2 times in transition, attack broke down with him- it was more down to him not in sync with his teammates. That will come quickly when he gets a run of games. Certainly looks a promising signing

Decided gonna block anyone who needlessly and incorrectly criticised this guy yesterday.

Can’t be arsed with the inaccuracy or the negativity. Most of those who were doing it are well known trolls such as Igula Igula so should’ve done that anyway.

Like Bentancur he just exudes a stronger more physical presence than we see from Lucas, Winks and even Skippy. Does that come from playing his junior football in -5 degrees on bone hard pitches in Sweden? probably. What I liked about him yesterday was that he constantly played with his head up, a bit like Kane he (nearly) always seemed to know what was going on around him, not bad for a player who only met his teammates last week.

As most have said his decision making and composure will be the difference and it's much needed in our attack. Son, Lucas and even Bergy can be quite erratic but Kulu slows the game down and will pick the right pass more often than not.

A lot of players on their debut might have gone for glory and hit a shot straight at the defender's legs but he delayed until the very last moment and put it on a plate for Bergy who fluffed it.

Once it's Kane and Son on the end of those we will see his assists rocket.

He joined here the 23rd of June 2020 and I’m pretty sure I put him on ignore the 24th of June. Better late than never I say!

He looks like a “ clever” player and you need those types

Like most new attacking players, the key for him will be an extended run in the side and significant goal contributions. The first six months is so crucial for him to start scoring and assisting, otherwise he’ll end up joining the long list of attacking players that have failed with us.

He's already laid on some good chances against a good side within half an hour of a debut days after joining.

Scoring and assisting is not the be all and end all and he has already arguably shown more than Bergwijn and will settle in very quickly because he speaks the language already and is suited to the English game.

I have little in the way of doubt that we won't make this permanent tbh even now.

I am a cup half full kinda thinker, he will do well simply because he moves around with or without the ball which is important.
He also wanted the ball and was prepared to do something positive with it.
First impressions are good, same with Bentancur...told you he likes a tackle.
With a few bad apples out the door things are once again looking up.
COYS

25 minutes off the bench and he creates about 3 chances against Brighton - augers well for the future when he knows his team mates better he could become one of our biggest chance makers.

Too early to be certain but first impressions are very good.
