Player Dejan Kulusevski

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Absolutely should have started tonight. Was behind the team & Sonnys selection to try and get him up and running but deep down I genuinely thought Kulu should have been in the starting XI

Dejan would most likely request to leave if we tried converting him to RWB. He has zero desire to be a wingback. He is not coy at all about what positions he sees himself playing.

Anyway I'm not bothered in arguing. I'm just tired of Royal.

It does not make sense to bench our most creative player while Son is stinking the place out. I would not be surprised if he starts at the weekend and Richy is left out.

I’m sure he’d rather play 90 minutes than sit on the bench. He’s literally been our best player this season and has no business being on the bench but that’s a different argument.
But moving him to wingback moves him out of a position where he is very lethal and dangerous.

Dejan's creativity is needed in that winger position, especially with us not having a traditional creative midfielder. I believe that moving him to wingback will only make us more toothless.

Not really when he’s displacing a player that has no footballing ability. He can still play in the final third

His best position ? Absolutely not

A better solution for us than Royal? Possibly (especially when it means our best ‘sub’ can also start)

Kind of want to see him play RWB now, especially if we play some more 3-5-2. Why can’t he do what Perisic does on the other side? Physical, great delivery, tackles well.
