Yes...

most agree he's in terrible form,
most people are idiots...his "terrible form" has been for much longer than any "borderline world class" form anyone can point to...so is it form that this player, in a winning team, in a purple patch but still producing shit football in the main, was more productive than the rest of his top flight career has suggested?

See? That's extending your logic from this apology for this player.

If he was 26/27 i'd probably say nah, but for a 22/23 year old with the numbers he put up last season in a team that was playing good football post christmas and the numbers he's put up this season in a mega negative team i think it's worth a try for 30 million.
So what's he done this season...with a full preseason...and a comfortable spot in the team?

Can't really think of any young attackers you'd get for that price who are better. Certainly forrest not selling johnson for that little, you'd end up with another Gil.
So, subject to our respective ignorance, let's settle for cheap and shitty rather than actually scouting the world of football for someone that lower profile but better upside?

you should be working for the club, your talent is wasted here really

His best performances seem to come from when he’s all the way out wide. Emerson would be playing inside.

Still think with his work rate he deserves a look at playing attacking midfield 3. But too late into the season for experimenting

He was playing this role for Parma.

he has the workrate and physicality for a MF role in the prem. Hoping we get a Nagelsmann that has a role like that for him.

30m is a no-brainer for a player that age with his ability. Only question is if he really wants to be here post Conte.

So you may have won an internet point or two here but you've not responded to my point. Would you like to do that or would you prefer the privilege of stating but not having your opinions scrutinized?

See, I think that if I make an opinion then surely I'm up for defending it against whatever challenges someone throws at me...but it seems MOST people aren't and they resort to personal attacks when the nonsense they spout is shredded by facts and reason. Why do you think that is? It's just words...and thoughts.

I also think folks have a problem with saying I like Kulu and I don't want him to go...without the fabrication of bullshit narratives to support it. Are folks afraid of the implications of that? It boggles my mind that they'd rather spew ridiculous arguments to justify their childish obsessions. And then take it personally when someone calls those ridiculous argument ridiculous.

Sign him up, and add more technical players around him. Players in mf who can get the ball to him and our other forwards quickly
We don't have to settle until June, so get the new guys in and let them say whether or not they think he suits their style. No point rushing in before then. If it's thumbs up, I'll be cool with it; thumbs down likewise tbh.

He's been very inconsistent this season - even a bit invisible at times - but so have a lot of the team. Plus, we have no clue if he'll thrive or wilt under the next management. He did prove that he has skill last season so it's not like we haven't seen anything from him.

If ever we could have done with another year's loan it's now.

Swedish media says he won't be purchased and will return to Juventus this summer. Guess they are guessing.

Juventus fans speculating as well

IMO it will remain up in the air until after coach and DoF are in place and we start to buy other players - and they will then make decisions on Kulusevski and maybe Lenglet in early June after the new guys have had a chance to review the squad as a whole and to test out the water on buying other players in.

12 months ago and I think most fans would have said he would be a 'must sign' after a great 2nd half to last season. This season he's not been anything like as good, which may not be all his fault as the team as a whole has been poorer, so its right to allow the new guys to stand back and make a decision as to how they could get him back to his best.

We should have properly road-tested him in MF (and maybe as a WB too) before now.......

Just one one of many squad development fails this season.

Twats.

We should keep all our players. Its not their fault. Its the tactics. Just need a new manager. Thats all.
We'll be fine either way.

He's a young player still and there's value there whether or not he kicks on at Spurs.

If I remember correctly, his preferred position is AM. Not that that matters a lick, but he's only really been utilized for us (on a regular basis) as a RW, and he hasn't been the same since his injury.

Maybe he's lost a step or maybe his tape has been studied, but he slows down play and takes a million unnecessary touches and no gas, he may be the worst first-choice RW in the Premier League. Off the top of my head I can't name another I wouldn't take over him at the moment.

I haven't seen him in person though, so maybe I'm missing something.

30 million though...it would be hard to recoup that. Levy has to negotiate this down really really hard.
