20 mil and it might be worth a gamble on this season being a one off

We shouldn't be spending anything near 35 on this guy
He's 23yrs old and was fantastic last season.

Since his injury this year he's been crap (although under Mason there has been a marked improvement).

I don't know anything about the injury he had, how bad it was, whether it has healed etc... I'm sure as I can be that it's affected his mentality, as he's been very timid in any challenge since he has been back like he's scared to injure himself again or aggravate or repeated the same injury (the small improvement I've seen under Mason has been him at least being a bit more aggressive).

I also think that he needs to evolve his game more, so last year teams had nothing on him to prepare how to play against him, now teams know not to let him come in off the wing, or let him open up onto his left to shoot. All things that players have to do to stay ahead of their oppo, maybe also this is where his injury didn't allow him to work on this (I honestly can't remember how he was playing before he got injured early on in the season, most of this season's games have been just blurred into one giant mess in my brain).

But from last season's performances alone we should be sorting this deal out (I like Bryan but if we could only sign one of them then it's Deki 100% as he has made a far better impact).

Yep, 20-25 should be fair and Juve should be happy to take that for a player who has had 6 good months in years.

He was useless for them and has been useless for us this season. No chance we should be paying full price given how predictable, one footed & slow he's looked for us lately. Paying 35 for a hideously out of form player would be madness.

They want rid and I'm highly doubtful clubs will line up to pay for him.

There is some proper shite talked on this thread.

A young player with a fantastic work ethic and a good skill set. Of course we want him, if we can knock the price down then great.

Yeah people keep saying this and then another game goes by where he's either dropped because he's shit, or he plays and does nothing.

I'm wondering at what point it stops being shite, and starts becoming the consensus. I think we're already on our way there.

We could bring back Dele...he's been crap too, but based on his form from 5 years ago.....

What did Conte do to our players this season......

Fantastic work ethic? Kulusevski is on loan, at a time when there are no standout players playing their heart out or trying to prove a point.

Kulusevski as the new young talented loanee, has had every opportunity to go out there and prove something. Instead he’s been mediocre, done absolutely nothing to suggest hes a 30mill+ player, apart from the fact hes from Juventus, still living off of half a dozen games last season, and has done absolutely fook all, all season.

Its time we stopped being battersea dogs home for underperforming average players

Kulusevski from his arrival at Spurs through the World Cup:

27 PL appearances, 6 goals, 13 assists

So, 7/1/5 this season pre-WC...... Better than I recall tbh.

Since then:

19 PL appearances, 1 goal, 1 assist

....But yeh, generally been a rancid season for a number of reasons.

- The way we played last season appears to suit him better (also see Son).
- He seems comparatively shot-shy (was he getting the same 'shoot less' instructions that Sonny complained about?).
- He seemed to mesh well with Doherty last season; not really struck up a relationship with any of the others since.
- Is he the proverbial confidence player?

By the time we squeeze a few quid off the price; I think he's worth the punt but that's obv a somewhat blind decision given we don't know how we'll set up next season.

Like to see him play on the left or central. Really dislike playing attackers on their weak foot and never moving them from that position. Mahrez, Robben etc are / were world class, but I think it limits players
