Went from making all the right decisions in his first half season to now making every wrong decision in the majority of this season. Absolute 180 in terms of his effectiveness because of it.
 
I don’t like berating players (too much anyway) as it’s a team game but he cost us the game tonight. Stupid foul on Gallagher at their end of the field when nothing was on. Sucked the momentum out of the game, and then another stupid foul less than a min later to give them the free kick. Just stupidity of the highest order

No, we got him on an 18 month loan with an option, not an obligation, an option, saw him have a hot 4 months and then play like one of the worst starting forwards in the entire League all of 2022-23.

And then, after that, we STILL spunked the £35m on him, even with the evidence that we knew his flaws and shortcomings.

You can’t fix incompetence that glaring. When it’s staring you in the face to this degree, what can we as fans do?
 
I thought he was our best player vs. Woolwich with Romero, but he also played at RW.

He was dreadful last night.

He has no place as the leading creative player as a #10. He doesn't have the vision nor the weighted pass.

I think he can work as an attacking 8 and RW, although he isn't our answer at the wing either. But he has better ball retention than all our wingers.
 
He was woeful last night. Gave away a needless free kick near their corner flag. 1min later, he gave away the free kick which Jackson scored from.

Clumsy without the ball. Clumsy with it.

Not good enough and too predictable. Was astonished to see him start at #10 last night. What the fuck does GLC have to do if Ange didn’t fancy Maddison? Or the kids for that matter…
 
Like many on here, I’ve had serious misgivings about Kulu since last season but with all the nonsense on Conte at the end of last season and the appointment of Ange in the summer, I bit my tongue and held off piling in on him.

He’s been given a fair crack of the whip this season, for many games undeservedly holding his place in the side. He’s had the odd good game in fairness but frankly, few and far between. Overall this season I believe he’s getting worse. For me, the straw that broke the camel’s back, I was the home game against Palace. My seat was near to the line where he was operating in the first half. I watched him closely and some of his decision making was atrocious or in some cases non-existent. When our defence had the ball he often wasn’t showing for it, when he had the ball he was running into blind alleys when he could have passed, or he passed when he could have driven on past an opponent. It was a dreadful watch and it seems to be happening time and time again now. Last night he was all over the place at times and for some reason made numerous unnecessary fouls giving away stupid free kicks.

This might seem like I’m jumping on a bandwagon to criticise him after last night, but I’m not. I think long and hard before digging out a player but he’s simply not good enough for us anymore and we need to properly improve on him. He’s certainly not alone in that regard but it’s time for him to move on now in my opinion.

Knowing Spurs though, we will probably end up keeping him if for no other reason than it might allow Lucas Bergvall to settle more quickly having a fellow Swede in the camp.

He was so shit last week he was dropped. From a team that's shit and has no real alternative. He's been shit for months on end.

Yes, he's got some brain (but even then not elite brain), some technical ability (but again not top top elite) but his a fucking sloth. he can't get away from anyone. A couple of times a game he'll cut inside and curl a cross in, a couple of times a season he'll do the same and curl a shot in. He is athletically challenged, and you can't teach that either. And his skill set isn't great enough to over come that either. He will always struggle to make his abilities count.

I really hope we haven't got an obligation. Money needs to be better spent.

Sigh...why didn't you send this to DL? Bet you this makes a lot more sense to a lot more people in here right about now than it did in April 2023 when you wrote it. Was about to self-promote but your post is just as good.

I'm entertaining myself by reading the nonsense spouted about this player earlier in the thread...so much hopium...so many shit talkers...
