That’s not what Ange wants. I hear him screaming at him at games to come to the ball and go in behind or go long then come in short but he does none of that. He’s a fucking child and I don’t want to see him start games for us. He’s not good enough.
I do blame Ange too because he constantly plays him. I love Ange but continually picking Johnson and Sonny will stop us winning games and ultimately cost him his job. I hope to fuck Odobert fires for us.
Like I said, he isn’t very good.
But he wants his wingers to stay out wide and put balls in the box, which is closer to Johnson’s game than Deki’s.
Which is why Ange keeps picking him.
It was but hopefully the lesson has been learned. Would be absolutely stunned if he doesn’t start on Saturday.
Yeah, it's a bit of a dilemma. I actually like Johnson as a sub, as he is better able to impact the game with his straight line speed against tiring defenders, which is something we saw several times last season.
The problem like you alluded to though is that he and Werner are our two wingers best able to play how Ange wants them to.
So I can see why we were after Neto, who whilst perhaps not a world beater, would have raised the overall level. Having the option of playing Neto for 60 minutes then Johnson, and Maddison for 60 then Kulu would in theory help address the problem from last season of there being a drop off in performance and intensity later in games.
I felt for Kulu, yes.....
.......But I'm not gonna be too down about Ange being idealistic for the first line-up of the new season.
Does he see Kulu as a RW anymore is the million dollar question.... If not, then I don't see BJ not starting against Everton.
Kulu is a better footballer than Johnson at pretty much everything tbh.

He also needs to get the best out of him and play him through his bad form because the club aren't going to let him get away with a £50m investment going South, he's going to keep playing him on that wing until he improves.
