It’s ok, he’ll do a couple of flicks next week and be the love child of Modric and Dembele again.

2 years and he’s had what, one good 90 v 10 man shit ManU and a few moments here and there in a couple of other games. Even against West Ham last week he largely disappeared second half.

He is definitely not a fucking 8, when the heats on, he melts.

He completely lost his head today, was lucky not to be sent off in the first half.
That's my take too- Palace got into his head and he was generally off it. Still had a couple close moments, but not a focused, mature enough performance for the task at hand.

He had a great run of games for us- can't expect to be good in all of them.

I think some will use this as an excuse to call for his dropping. I don't think that'd be warranted, but for sure some players have been playing a lot of minutes lately and could use more aggressive rotation. Just my opinion.

He was OK today. How many touches did he have? I bet very few because we failed to involve him. We failed at everything today but our attack is the least to blame.

Johnson was shocking though.

He was simply atrocious at the weekend. Couldn't stand his attitude, so unlike him. I mean he's always combative, but he was just acting a right knob trying to get sent off.

I wanna see him as a proper 10, even if that means benching Mads. Gimme Archie at the 6 and Biss or Sarr at the 8.

Bet if you asked Dom, he'd drool at the idea of FINALLY getting some through balls.

Mate he's not as bad as his detractors pretend...but world class come on now. We've finally deprogramed that junk out of the Romero groupies.

When people say World Class it's rarely ever true.

I know people toss around all sorts of preferred definitions for WC; but the simple measure is that unless you're top 2/3 in the world in your position you're not currently world class.

Deki is not a WC attacking MF-er and even less so a WC winger.

I think it's only ever truly three players in a position. In some occasions there ISNT three world class level say centerbacks active. So for example let's take the ENIC years. Kane was for a period in the three best Centerforwards ( Benzema Lewandoski) King was another, Bale, Modric. That's pretty much it at us. Clubs like Chelsea and Arse probably have seen more.
