Look at the players who did start for ManCity - that's the relevant fact..... they are the ones we beat.

I know you don't know what to say - and I have no idea why you fail to engage brain before posting.
It was a mix of first team (Dias, Stones, Foden, Gundogan) , second string (Nunes, McAtee, Ortega, Ake, Lewis) and youth (O'Reily).

It was also an XI that have very little experience playing together. There was also no recognised striker which is probably why they could barely muster a shot on target.

As the game went on they added two more youth players.

Obviously still a collection of good players but no evidence of a good collective. Meanwhile we were only really missing Porro and Son from our first team.

Good result obviously but context is still important.

Of course, but we have lost to a lot shitter teams than this. Was still a very good City side. Excellent result regardless.

Average age of our starting eleven was 24.

Theirs was 26. Regardless of whether you think they fielded kids or not, they had much more experienced heads in their eleven guiding them. Treble winners. (Ake, Stones, Gundogan, Dias). Ruben Dias, also a PFA Player of the Year. Their goalscorer cost them 50m+

They then proceeded to bring on a 60m+ defender in Gvardiol on at half time with Kovacic and later another treble winner in Bernardo Silva.

Meanwhile we had no Porro, Son or Maddison. Three key players. We started an 18 year old midfielder at right back. Lost VDV for 75 minutes. Lost Romero for a half (ending the game with Dragusin and Ben Davies at CB). You mention City bringing on kids, we brought on a 17 year old (youngest player to see the field)

So sure, a bit of context.

If you think a City team missing Haaland, KDB, Gvardiol, Walker, Rodri, B.Silva, Ederson and with Foden as the F9 and two youth players in central midfield isn’t second string then I dunno what to say.

We were hardly playing our full first string team and you are making out like we did.

We weren't especially by around 60 mins when looking at our back 4.

We won a game of football just accept it and let people enjoy it. You can come back and be all jazzed up next time we lose a game.

You call knocking a two yard pass back to Sarr to score a worldy from 25 yards an "excellent" assist? The first one was an excellent assist.

He then disappeared for the the next 90 minutes. Werner was on the pitch 30 minutes less and only had 3 less touches than Kulusevski.

We were playing ManC kids. Sunday we were playing Palace and he disappeared there.

This guy is another Lamela. Arrived from Italy with some ability and supposedly potential, but it's just Moments here and there (everyone one of which is exaggerated and over hyped by his fans) and a whole lot of nothing else. He's not 18 or 19, having his first full season or two, he's 24, and been around first teams for 5-6 years now, the guy flopped in Serie A, failed here for most of the time after a decent first 6 months. It's not like he hasn't had minutes or chances. Can't play wide because he's a fucking trundler who isn't great 1v1. Can't play midfield because he's not capable of carrying the load that midfielders have to do.

Eriksen would be a great example of a player with limited physical qualities, who couldn't move with the ball, but who had the wit, vision, movement and technical execution to actually influence games constantly and consistently, whilst also consistently producing end product. As well as producing tangible stuff like goals and assists year on year, he would also press, see a shit load of ball in midfield and quietly dictate games. At Kulusevski's age he was getting 23 goals/assists in the PL, averaging 50 odd passes a game.

Kulusevski is nowhere near that. Nowhere near.
Eriksen who was absolutely atrocious versus us at Old Trafford??.....every free kick and corner he couldn't even beat the first man, as we saw constantly at the end of his time with us....you must remember the game?.....🤔......Kulu was voted Motm......👍

It is men like me that are right, have good intuition, common sense, and a fair sense of morality that have to save you from your own ignorance

I am here for you. No matter how much you try to drag men like me down with how wrong you are and try to take me with you, drain me, and burn down our society, i will always be here to extend that hand and save you and put up with you. It is my moral duty.

So you can live in make believe land that men are women and that Deki is a mezella maestro and that im on the wrong side of history, meanwhile the real men like me will pick up the pieces of another lost game to a relegation team because of a shit manager and a shit average Kulusevski whilst you sit in a corner flinging shit over the room next to your kulusevski poster

You’re a real dumb guy Shady.

Admin, clown emoji for this guy please

k thanks bye x

Yes they brought on Gvardiol and Kovacic at HT but this was to REPLACE Dias and Gundogan - so they are actually losing experience (and I would argue quality) with this move. Same with the Silva for Foden swap. These are like for like changes that do not bring the team closer to what would be a first XI.

They then took out two senior players in Ake and Savinho and replaced them with youth.

On our side, yes playing a half with Drag and Davies is 100% weakened but then again this was not a city attack of Grealish, Doku, De Bruyne and Haaland. For the last 30 mins it was Nunes, McAtee, Wright with Silva being the only "first team" attacker on the pitch.

Also I don't think you can include Maddison as a missing first XI player at this moment in time. Kulu has been better this season and Madders is the one that gets hooked more often than not. Biss + Sarr/Bentancur + Kulu is the first choice midfield right now.
