You can’t blame fatigue on braindead decision making and selfishness.

If you’re tired why do you choose to run with the ball when there’s an obvious pass on? How the fuck does that make even a single lick of sense?

Mental fatigue is a thing.

How do you explain him making those passes consistently all season then suddenly there's a massive drop off in the last few matches.

Played the most mins out of anyone in the team over the xmas period.

Mr tired
Mr knackered
Mr flagging

Uh Huh Yes GIF

Absolute bollocks in fact if he's tired wouldn't he be more inclined just to make the simple pass back. He's just strayed players NG selfishly that's all there is to it

Not quite...when you're mentally fatigued you make the wrong decision and your brain gets all scrambled you make the wrong decision which is what happened there

Rest.

He’s been doing shit like this his whole time here, just read through this thread. Everyone in this team right now is fatigued, they haven’t all turned into drunken pub footballers.
People need to watch him in the last 5 games at least to see his loose touches, possession lost, slow running and non-tracking/pressing stats.

But people won't. Lasting 90 minutes running at the byline was enough for him to be seen as useful. Things that he was constantly poor at, they always attributed it to fatigue and knackered. Honestly it's a lazy excuse. Not like he's fucking 29 years old.

Sorry his decision making in and around the opposition final third is piss poor. Yeah progressive passes but let's see possession lost stats and stats for the breaking down of attacks. When he's good like united away and city yeah but how often do those types of performances get put in. Frustrating player for me.

i dont think thats how it works. I think its the same as with fatigue from hard physical work over a long period. You can keep working for a very long time but your in a mentally different state. Often thats where the accidents happen. Kulusevski is one of the players that runs the most distance and makes the most sprints, i think?, in the team. But he is in excellent physical form, a top athlete. I guess the fatigue or tiredness shows more in his decision making and overall play rather than the running.
