Player Dejan Kulusevski

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I agree. I don’t get the tired bit either. And as you say he was rested on Sunday. He can have good games but he is slow, clumsy and very wasteful at times. We have many problems in this team and he may not be the biggest of those but let’s not pretend he is world class like some on here do.
He has world class performances but he’s played like a cunt for weeks now. Needs to touch bench and think about himself

Porro,
Maddison,
Bissouma,
Kulu,
Romero,

All players who's levels are erratic; yet on their day can be fantastic.

That's 50% of our best XI.

Brings back thoughts of the old adage that you're better off with a steady 7; than an enigmatic, inconsistent 5-10.

Romero only this season.

I think it’s a collective thing too. Get them playing together regularly and the levels go up for all of them

All of those are flawed, but all except Kulusevski are consistently way more involved in games, show up for the ball more, are more disciplined, have more responsibility (or take on more responsibility) and have harder remits.

All Kulusevski has to do is float around like a turtle in a fucking windsock doing fuck all and he can’t even do that properly most weeks.

Kulu was clearly our best player in the first half of the season and it's not even close, the stats bear it out. However in some recent games he has become unusually ragged, struggled to get the ball out from under his feet and misplacing passes under pressure. I expect it is more of a temporary lapse in form - not for the first time in his Spurs career.

He clearly wasn't and the stats didn't. And he wasn't even close. he was our fifth most productive attacker of the five regularly played.

I'm sorry sir, but you appear to be drunk in charge of an Internet account. Not only is he the highest rated midfielder / winger according to the TFCs own player ratings (equal with Mikey Moore on 6.2 - and we all know young players get a rating bump) but even a cursory websearch will show you plenty of articles from Nov / Dec highlighting his impressive attacking stats.

Even before the Woolwich match they brought up a head to head with Odegaard to show how far Kulu was ahead on key measures.

Sorry, I used to run the match ratings threads and stats analysis over on Glory Glory for about 4 years in the mid 00's. Felt like a busman's holiday. Back in those days it was all manual collation and spreadsheets.

Seriously though, it isn't credible to claim that Kulu wasn't one of our best midfield/attacking players up until the end of December.

Not if you don’t care about actual metrics and just use the Gary Neville narrative-ometer I guess.

Most consistent player in the team once again but certain people will do everything to not admit it purely out of stubborness, some out of stupidity and a bit of both.
