He's a cunt but his 'agenda' isn't with Romero ffs. It's with footballers that have a history of going in with mistimed dangerous tackles (he used to absolutely tear into Xhaka at every opportunity).

The problem with Neville is that he isn't able to differentiate a yellow card offence from a red card offence with these type of players although he has got the last 2 calls for Romero to be sent off correct imo. Neville just goes on about it to such an extent it makes it seem like he has an agenda with the specific player.

He's such a twat, in the last few weeks he's gone from calling Ange naive to saying that he could be Pep's successor.

His only defense is that he is 100% briefed by Sky Sports producers on which narrative to go with. He is doing his job. The words won't be fully scripted and he has some oratory talent to deliver on his brief but he also takes a lot of pleasure from it.
