It woukd be a huge leap of unwarranted faith to believe this will be anything but uncomfortable.

No doubt those who live in the city of optimism will see this like they saw Sunday and numerous false dawns.

It would be good if just for this once, the good ship sunshine was correctly titled.
 
Whole season pretty much now rests on this comp, lets hope the players turn up and we get the performance from the last 15 mins of the Goon game rather than the abject first 75.

I would say surely its done and dusted at 2-0 against lets be fair inferior opposition but this is Spurs '20-'21 Dr Jeckyl was less Bi-polar

He'd be alright against Newcastle, Sheffield or tonight. Even the next Europa games if we get a decent draw. He has no business playing against teams that match or exceed our quality though.

But anyway... They are a counter-attacking team , we're 2-0 up against a team that like to sit back and counter attack so for me this tie should be VERY VERY easy to manage.

No mistakes and just be solid.

Of the first-teamers I'd only play Lloris and Sanchez as those 2 should basically be played every game.
I'd rotate the rest of the team. Players clearly need a rest. Keep your Kanes and Bales on the bench just in case but keep them on there if the game is going fine.
