Match Dinamo Zagreb Vs Tottenham, Thurs 18th March 5:55pm KO - Live on BT Sport.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I will approach the game with eyes peeping through clasped fingers.

It woukd be a huge leap of unwarranted faith to believe this will be anything but uncomfortable.

No doubt those who live in the city of optimism will see this like they saw Sunday and numerous false dawns.

It would be good if just for this once, the good ship sunshine was correctly titled.

Whole season pretty much now rests on this comp, lets hope the players turn up and we get the performance from the last 15 mins of the Goon game rather than the abject first 75.

I would say surely its done and dusted at 2-0 against lets be fair inferior opposition but this is Spurs '20-'21 Dr Jeckyl was less Bi-polar

Interested to see what happens at RB. Think Japhet might be a good match against Grealish at the weekend. Surely has to be a rotation between him and Aurier from here, Doherty was embarrassing against Woolwich.
Me, thinking about Tanganga marking Grealish:

Dinamo Zagreb are a team who have just had their manager arrested. So they might not be in the best frame of mind to play.

But anyway... They are a counter-attacking team , we're 2-0 up against a team that like to sit back and counter attack so for me this tie should be VERY VERY easy to manage.

No mistakes and just be solid.

Of the first-teamers I'd only play Lloris and Sanchez as those 2 should basically be played every game.
I'd rotate the rest of the team. Players clearly need a rest. Keep your Kanes and Bales on the bench just in case but keep them on there if the game is going fine.

Lloris
Doherty Sanchez Dier Davies
Winks Sissoko
Lamela Dele Bergwijn
Vinicius

That's a decent team too.. Should have no problems there and this makes most sense ahead of Villa on Sunday

Shame we couldn't get a third goal in the first leg but if we cant go there and see out the tie then we shouldn't even be thinking of the next round. Will be criminal not to progress.
Maureen will play for 0-0....
