Per the plane tracker on reddit. Spence has landed safely at Nantes airport. and will travel to Rennes by car.
After paying a visit to Sissoko of course.
Transfermarkt has him down with a potential return on 3/13. 8 games at least until then IF he is back on time.
As a Rennes supporter, I think Spence comes at a bad time. Since the serious injury of our best player at the beginning of January, Martin Terrier (plus an incredible number of injuries in the squad), the team has struggled a lot in the game, and the results are much worse. It is a team in full doubt.
He's had a lot of offers, if he chose you it's because he's not scared of challenging circumstances.
Another bad news for the #SRFC : absent from training this morning, Rennes captain Hamari Traoré should be out for about 6 weeks. Expected return in March...
I hope he will integrate quickly, we need a good side, captain Traoré had a great influence in the game and in the locker room. Rodon, who has shown an exemplary mentality, and has made good matches since his return to the starting line, will no doubt help him there. Now I don't know if Spence will be able to play in the Europa League.

Rennes is a great move for Djed. For a start he will be playing. At least to start with while Traore is injured. They play a very attacking style of football too. Hopefully he shines enough for us to want him back

Are you saying his not very good? As we can’t judge bcos Dino didn’t play him and bcos he threw his toys out the pram in a hissy fit saying he was the clubs choice. Poor lad was doomed before signing. Conte ego would not let Soence have a chance regardless of how shite the other two were. This was detrimental to the club and team. If he turned out to be crap then ok abd we could say we bought a dud. However his never had a chance. Conte never wanted him so out he goes. He can carry on getting the team to play the sane turgid shite .
I just don't believe that Conte's ego would allow him to keep a player out of the side that was better than Royale and Doc, so that's the conclusion I have to draw.
