Haha my mate? I've been saying he should have been sacked since New Years day after the Villa game. I detest the football he's served up this season. Disgraceful he never gave Spence a chance.
I think you're equating saying the ultimate responsibility on this seasons mess and others is at Levy's and ENICs door. There is more than enough blame to go around.
Conte’s perplexing move. His system is really dependent on solid wing backs burning down the flank creating space for the front three. What does he do? Ships our one right back that can do that on loan after drying him out on the bench
I wouldn't sell Emerson, although it might be tempting now that his value should be quite high. I think Emerson can be equally as effective on the left as he is on the right and Porro can play further up the field providing an additional attacking option. So you can have Udogie/ Sess on the left, Porro/Spence on the right and Emerson playing left or right with Porro playing RB/RWB or in the front 3 as situations may dictate. Offers a lot of flexibility.

Pochettino did with way more with way less in Danny Rose...we spent 45 million on Porro and played Deir and Lenglet

We need to be careful in believing our squad might be pretty good or where will those who think ENIC are to blame turn to? All manner of religious groups and quacks may come calling.
I mean Spence actually looking decent might simply be French air and not the confidence of a manager or a system that suits.
Let's hope the player and others who have not been given a chance don't read how sh!t they are or take it to heart that one manager's viewpoint is that of the clubs.

Just one in a long list of mistakes by him. Cannot believe this is supposed to be the £15m a year serial winner we were promised.
Most of his decision making seem to be political or ego driven.
Spence was obviously good enough. He was going to make mistake as all young players do but the net gain he can bring will make it worth it. He has a very high ceiling he may need to be slapped down on occasion and certainly rotated but his management and that of Son and Sarr asks serious questions of Contes competence.
I think we should seriously consider moving Royal inside because I think Dier and Lenglet are awful and I'd not sell him no way, because Emerson has something very few of the team have mental strength.
If Spence had joined Arse he'd be a regular and sickeningly close to a title. He's as good as what they have at full back with way more potential...but worse he'd have an actual coach to improve him.

Well once Conte goes we might find a coach who coaches.
I just want to see player development and consistency of performance.
You need the confidence of your manager to do that.
Spence, Porro fighting for RB next season and Royal as CB cover or sold. If we are gonna play progressive football we need fullbacks who like to get forward
I would suggest that both Porro and Spence can be described as being excellent going forward but both might be slightly suspect defensively in not tracking back as quickly as they might etc.
Porro is a year older and slightly more experienced. But he's not 3 times better as the £45m v £15m fees might suggest. And one starts almost directly after arrival, the other is only involved in 'training' (but what is he trained in ?)
If you recall it took at half decent coach at Bristol City where Danny Rose went on loan to convert him from a LW/CM to a LWB ........ within months as Danny came back as a very accomplished LWB from having played that role at Bristol City ! So it can't be that difficult to train a LWB can it ?
