They should have put Tanganga on him, Son was getting no change out of him whatsoever.

Looks a very good prospect, strong enough, fast enough and looks savvy enough. hopefully he will get some more game time
I wouldn’t get too excited, he only came on because we didn’t have a senior midfielder or forward on the bench.
A nice match for him to come on in, though. Maybe he can play in the Carabao cup against Forest.

I liked the way he was getting himself involved in the game straight away. He's looking like a player that can contribute to the first team.
I'm certain once he actually gets game time he will see off the current incumbent. He's big strong aggressive quickest of the wingbacks we have( maybe the quickest since Walker). He needs to work hard and really understand what Conte requires.
He surprised even Richarlison with his pace, he wasn't expecting him . If Richarlison had played it through to him he had a good chance to hit the net.

Djed Spence's cameo yesterday, in that RW/RAM position, allowed him to show off his pace on the counterattack.
He seems to have the raw attributes Conte likes in a WB, and now - like all our summer signings bar Perisic - he has to learn Conte's "idea of football". That will require hard graft on the training ground and time.
But Spence's cameo makes the Dan James link even more mystifying. We already have Lucas Moura as pacy RW / RWB squad depth, along with Djed.
Our squad needs someone with guile to back up Deki, not a pace merchant who lacks vision & creativity like James.
