While I don't deny he's a good manager, calling him one of the greats is too far IMO.

It's a broken record by now, but having success with a Barca team including an in prime Xavi, Iniesta & Messi is something that would be expected by even Steve Bruce.

Then taking over a Bayern team that had just won a clean sweep of trophies, again, not exactly the hardest job imaginable.

Then taking of a Man City team that not only has a squad full of superstars but who also have basically unlimited funds is again, something that even an average manager could have success with.

A great manager is someone like Alex Ferguson, who not only took Aberdeen of all teams to Scottish league titles, but also a Cup Winners Cup beating Real Madrid in the final, as well as taking an underachieving Man Utd who hadn't won the league in over 10 years to the dominant force in English football.

Or hell, even our Jose Mourinho, who took Porto of all teams to back to back UEFA Cup & Champions League wins.
