Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It’s more they are speculative punts from poor sides, so players aren't used to training and playing at top level intensity. Our rivals don’t tend to sign players from Everton, Bournemouth and relgation fodder like Burnley but due to Covid/cost of stadium/PSR issues affecting Spurs, we have to dip into a murky pond fishing for a bargain

Utter bullshit... Absolute cack.

.......Least of all cos you inevitably bitched that we didn't ignore their poor injury records and sign Neto & Eze for a combined 130m from Wolves & Palace respectively.

No only Wolves, Leicester, Southampton,
And yes they do sign players from Everton: see Amadou Onana. And United chased Branthwaite all summer.

Good job we didn't spend 100m on Grealish when he'd only been part of a relegated Villa like City did.

...........And thank fuck we didn't sign Eze from QPR/Palace or Olise from Reading/Palace.

Luckily a "bargain" hungry Bayern dived into the "murky pond" and signed the latter before we could make such a mistake.

Honestly; the utter crap some people come out with.

Mate... Man City signed Stones from Everton and Ake from Bournemouth.

Pope is Newcastles no.1 keeper, signed from Burnley.

I saw that there was movement in the Solanke thread. Maybe he's been seen in training, recovered.

No, not at all. Just the usual miserable sods spreading their "Spurs is shit at tranfers gospel" in a new thread.

Thanks a lot Zomb, GGTH et.al. Fuck off.

Pope is shit

The City players were given time to get up to speed and transition from squad roles to first 11 alongside other stellar signings.
We don’t have a striker and only bought some post GCSE players so thrust Solanke straight in

Peasantry

We can say what we want but him or gyokeres for 20 mill more isn't so bad bad now. Still scoring. Gyokeres and a good winger and we would be laughing now oh well another season of hoping for the best

Gyokeres would be useless in this system. He needs space to run in behind, he needs genuine service from out wide, plus he is doing it in a poor league where many strikers have a prefviously scored loads but once they move up a level they end up struggling.

When the only crosses that are reaching your 9 are produkt of your CM (Madders), then the question is what your wingers and fullbacks are doing? Udogie does not cross at all, same applied today to Son, Porro and Johnson. Overally i really liked him today, good in buildup, couple important tackles, initiaded our best team action today (kuku strike in first half). Shame he didn't take a shot after Son deflection in first half

Lets be honest - he's never going to live up to his 65 million price tag. But his massive overvaluation isn't his fault

Signing a 65 million striker was NEVER going to solve anything

The bald cunt and our fat ass manager did not address the MAIN ISSUE that every fan clearly can see

WE DON'T HAVE ANY CAPABLE PLAYERS TO GET THE BALL TO OUR FCKING STRIKERS!!!!!

Took an extra touch on what should have been a serious shot on target and, in turn, was blocked.

He's still rusty because he had to go off for an injury. Far too early to make a decision.

He does play like an actual 9, and brings others into the game. We just don't use him as we should.

He needs to be the fulcrum in the middle that we pass to, when our wingers are blocked out of the game. He then turns, or one touch passes, to the two or three runners we have overloading their box (as a design of our system).

We didn't do that today. As a result, we were boxed out of the middle and left to our wingers feebly trying to get things done.

Ange needs to see this and make that a pattern for us. We need plan A, B, C, D. Right now, we play with plan A, and a half executed plan B.
