fulkrug second choice? if he is now he wont be soon. antonio is a donkey.Your probably right, because both of those are second choice for their teams.
If he scores 20 goals in the Premier league this season I will very happily admit I was wrong, I can't see it happening but I would love him to be the real deal and propel us to better things...but slightly in his defence, with the dross he has giving him the ball.. .not including sonny...he doesn't stand much of a chance
And after escaping from our medical staff Sessegnon played a full 90 minutes ...I mean at this point you just have to laugh! Get a PL proven striker who is fit a s a fiddle and plays every game , signs for us for a record breaking fee - One game in and he is injured!

It's rhyming slang for cunt.
I'm guessing maddison was most of those chances? You understand that most of our team is actually good, right? And that Johnson/Richarlison/Maddison all provided close to 30 assists alone?
He's going to get a LOT of chances. He got a fuckload on his debut alone. Whether that converts to goals remains to be seen.
But if we are trying to compete, then that's what is needed...we need quality to be able to compete with the clubs above us.

Except when he plays us and turns into an unstoppable force of naturefulkrug second choice? if he is now he wont be soon. antonio is a donkey.
and richy is still an unknown in terms of actual quality in my opinion
OK fair point, then he's also not good enough then....I've always hoped he could improve as I like him. Especially his time at Watford.. but I actually think he's a worse player now then when he was at WatfordHe’s made more than 200 appearances for Premier League clubs since joining Watford in 2017.
What more is there to learn about him in your opinion?
Is it going to take another 200 appearances before he becomes less of an ‘unknown quantity’?

Johnson is definitely not good enough for a top 4 team and richy is still an unknown in terms of actual quality in my opinion ...most of our team is actually good? The 4 defenders and the gk are and obviously maddison and Son...so 7 players from a 23 man squad are actually good and proven
I know stupid post by whoever it was. Oh yeah he’s still young and there is a player in there somewhere. One of the most BS phrase keep hearing on here about generally crap players. He’s made more than 200 appearances for Premier League clubs since joining Watford in 2017.

Richy isn't crap, he's limited. He also clearly wants to succeed at the club, which makes him hard to dislike. It's hard to argue with his injury record at Spurs we need a more reliable 9, but if he can get himself fit you can't do much better in terms of bringing on a different threat from the bench, I'm well aware how poor his first touch is and his limited ability to dribble and beat a man, but is it really coincidental that our best periods of play last season involved Richy at 9? If you give him the ball in a decent position, I'd say about 8/10 he's putting the ball in the net, he is a good natural finisher. He doesn't do the rest very well, which Solanke from what I saw vs Leicester does in spades. If it's clear our wide forwards and mids are not at the races however there's not much point having a focal point with the aim of bringing them into play, which may mean we see Richy come on around 60 mins when we're hitting a brick wall and I'd put my hat in the ring in saying I'm sure he would score a fair few goals in those scenarios. The fact is we've paid £60m for him and we're not gonna shift him for anything close to Levy would accept so you may as well see the glass half full and look at what he can provide instead of his very obvious limitations, at the end of the day no one put a gun to our head and made us sign him.I know stupid post by whoever it was. Goals are just a stat, you fucking nerd.So tell me what you see that means he is better. Some arguments ... do you think he is better in the air, or better at link up play, or presses harder ... or what?
We bought him to solve our problem in front of goal where we are wasteful. I really hope he does it, I think goalscoring is pretty good metric for that. Last season Solanke scored a goal every 2 games, Richarlison scored a goal every 2.5 games in a season where he was fighting injuries and off field problems.
How can you ignore that solankes team scored 20 less goals? So tell me what you see that means he is better. Some arguments ... do you think he is better in the air, or better at link up play, or presses harder ... or what?

Bissouma's already got one.We need 90+ goals to win the premier league
80+ for top 4.
Solanke doesn't need to be a 30+ goal a season striker.
Solanke 17
Son 17
Richarlison 10
Madds 10
Kulu 8
Johnson 8
Odobert 5
Werner 4
Bentencaur 3
Romero 4
Porro 3
Udogie 2
That takes us to 91 goals. Can Bergvall,Biss, VDV add a few more to the tally?
