Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We have now dropped 9 points AFTER the 80th minute this season so far!

Leading 1-0 Newcastle scores penalty in stoppage time. Dropped 2 points.

Leading 3-0 West Ham scores three after the 81st including a OG from Sanchez. Dropped 2 points.

Leading 1-0 Crystal Palace scores in the 81st. Dropped 2 points.

Tied 1-1 Liverpool scores in the 90th. Dropped 1 point.

And last but not least, tonight. Leading 1-0 Wolves score in the 86th. Dropped 2 points.

Common storyline is only scoring 1 goal and sitting back waiting for the inevitable. How can an accomplished Manager allow this to keep happening?

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. This is insane.

It’s what he does lol, he did exactly the same at Man Utd, will keep doing the same at Tottenham.
When media and fans pressure got to him to play more attacking football at Man Utd, he set his team so well that he ended up getting the sack. If people expect a radical playing style change while he’s here, I have bad news for them.

The game has changed. Whether it’s for better or for worse all things change and you must adapt. We can still win the league but we must change our tactics for some matches. Kane and Son are too good to waste!!!!

Do you not think that is what happened yesterday? A very different approach although not all out attack.

Whether it was your intention or not doesn't matter, every time we drop points or don't win I suspect this is the thread that'll get the most traffic and it'll all be anti-Jose comments.

NDombele being on the pitch correlates to us being well clear at the top...

Yeah I think the real key to this team at the moment is the midfield.

When we look terrible there seems to be a gulf in the middle of the park between our defensive wall and our attackers.

Still think we could do with an intelligent playmaker to sit in there. When we click it's great but we don't seem to have many players that can read the game and think a pass ahead

Primary problem is that the team lacks a playmaker that can dictate the pace and rhythm of the game and also the vision for probing and initiating attacks. Winks is suppose to do that but is simply not good enough. Secondary problem is that the CBs are not good enough to play a high line and thus you cannot shorten the field to increase and maintain pressure on weaker team.

Temp solution might be playing Ndombele and Lo Celso together ahead of Hojbjerg. Would probably necessiate that at least one FB (if not both) is more conservative.

Our dismal run of dropping points late in the game must give our opposition such hope and perhaps even an expectation that if they keeping making attempts they will equalise late on.
It’s almost a new interpretation of Fergie’s half time speech “Lads, it’s Tottenham”.
That’s seemingly how we fans feels atm, expect our players feel the same.
We have to start playing more aggressively, prioritising scoring more and overturn this perception.

So much for the Special One on £15 million a year who was going to instill a winners mentality. We’ve never been as Spursy as we are now. I don’t ever recall us conceding so many late goals and dropping so many points at such a late stage in games.

We all moaned about Poch having his favourites, making poor subs and not changing his gameplan despite everyone seeing it not working.

Mourinho is doing the exact same thing right now.
Very true. Has been a distinct lack of rotation in several 'easy' games and Kane, Son, etc, have certainly been overplayed.

Ruthless and timely subs I always thought were a Jose strength. Hasn't been the case recently. The Fulham game especially was a disaster of indecision and poor selection.

It's obvious what the problems are. 1. The tactics change too defensively when we have the lead. There is zero reason to sit back against fucking Fulham in the second half last match. 2. The few chances we have we are not converting like we did earlier in the season. Son missed a great chance to make it 2-0 against Fulham in the second half.

When our plan is to sit back and create 3-4 really good chances a game, we cannot afford to miss many.
