Good luck to Emerson, no idea how he was here in the first place and I'm not sure he does either - tried his best, generally crap at right back but oddly brilliant at centre back when literally everyone else at the club was suspended / injured / dead. Serie A might just suit him...
 
Was actually quite impressive that he managed to play with the lowest slung and baggiest shorts I've ever seen on a footballer. They must have sat halfway down his thighs. Who knows what could have been achieved if we'd found him some elastic.

Not a good footballer though.
I think Watford away a few years back. They wouldn't mark or tackle him. Just let him cross.
But he stood firm when needed at the end of Conte's 1st season and helped fuck the gooners out of ECL. And for that I'll always be grateful

He’s a good lad and I think he’ll do really well there. A decent outcome for all parties by the look of it.

I’m so glad he’s not here and we don’t have to hear our fans do their best to pretend he’s not utterly fucking useless as a footballer.

I mean, yeah. Nice guy. Funny. I’m sure a hard worker. But a tragic top level player in terms of technique. Abysmal. So fucking glad we no longer have to risk him coming on the pitch for us as he gave me an aneurysm every time he had the ball at his feet.

Him & Hojbjerg being gone has reduced our clogger rating significantly.
