Can he play wing-back, if Nuno wanted to play 3 at the back?
Way too defensive from what I've heard. Similar to Ferland Mendy of RM. Unless we'd like to play the asymetrical line-up that Mourinho played when he first came here, with Davies being much further back than Aurier.

Appears as if they rumours that there was a difficulty in agreeing personal terms were untrue.

Heard mixed things about Emerson;
positives: very strong and athletic, quite fast. great defensive stats in terms of tackling and interceptions.
negatives: not technically that gifted, so won't get as many assists as reguilon. can make mistakes from time to time, and had a nervy start to his career at Barca.

A little dissuaded by the amount of Barca fans saying he is nothing special and isn't really that good offensively. But I trust in Nuno and Paratici. Hopefully he proves everyone wrong!

Yeah, he seems to be similar profile to Tanganga, except slightly ahead in development as more first team football.

Perhaps Nuno is keen on having a strong athletic RB, to make up for Reguilon at LB who has flair but isn’t as tough.

Ahhhhh actual quality fullbacks with good depth, such a nice change. Haven’t had that since Walker left.

Just need Sess to get back to form and we’ve got some good stuff going on. Reguilon, Tanganga, Emerson, and Sessegnon all under the age of 24.

He's only 22 but having gained 3 caps for Brazil in the recent Copa America it's reasonable to assume he's better than some Barca fans are now claiming ... he's in London for his medical so unless his dad really fucks it up looks like he's ours.

Edit - Not in London time was short so Spurs agreed to a medical in Spain.

Youth movement:

Emerson, Romero, reguilon, Rodon

Gil, Skipp, lo Celso, Sarr

Bergwin

Not bad at all. Add a talented young striker to that, and we've done really well revamping this team while keeping talented experience as mentorship (Kane, Son, Hoj, Lucas, Dele)
