Not looking good.

Life is such a delicate thing, and as I experienced first hand recently, the people you care about really can just disappear in the blink of an eye.

Something I’ve reflected upon is the idea that these events should make us cherish every moment we have with those we care about. It doesn’t work like that. Maybe for a few days or weeks, but it’s human nature to slip into a state of normality. My fiancée had a close call about 14 months ago and for a while I doted on her hand and foot, talked about the good and the bad about the past, and discussed the future. Eventually I just took the fact that she was in my life for granted, which I’m not saying was a bad thing. If someone constantly treated me like I was about to die I’d eventually find it a bit overbearing. Even now I don’t speak with my family every day as if I might never have the opportunity again.

I hope this somehow has a happy ending, but it seems unlikely now. His friends and family, and those of the pilot, must be going through hell right now. Of course that’s true for many people all over the world for unrelated reasons. Life is fucking shit at times.

Unbelievable. I’m seriously disgusted by this.

Hoping he and the other passengers somehow made it but...it’s not looking good. Hoping for a wonder.

Enjoy your life fellas. It can be over real quickly.

Whilst I don't expect anyone to take time off work for bereavement counselling, nor do I expect Spurs should retire the number of whatever shirt he would have worn for Cardiff ... it's not that kinda of impact on everyone.
But I think the 'football Familly' has the perfect opportunity to actually acknowledge that this is a shitty thing to happen... and that it could, and has happened to ANY club!

Sonny still has a long cross-continent flight to make before we see him again...

So let's not SOME of us dismiss this with a glib, intensive; "hey that sucks" but let's move on, nothing to see here attitude!

This could be ANY team in the Country...
Let's realise that JUST cos it's a player from another team, who they didn't even see play... that it has ANY less impact.

It's an awful awful tragedy that deserves our respect....

And YES anderton46 I'm looking at YOU!

Well said.

Horrendous.

This is why I dont want to travel with planes. Anything can happen but to die in a plane or by drowning is really devastating and wouldnt want this for enemy either.

Shocking news which hasn't been helped by the many many vile posts from Swansea fans.. Sometimes you just leave it alone...
They have really been scraping the barrel..

That is really disgusting.
It is one thing to have no opinion on the matter, or no empathy as some have been accused of but to actually revel in something like this is really shocking.

This is real low .... the internet really allows pricks to manifest and makes me wonder how many are blagging civilisation.

sure there is tragedy all around but this remains a particularly sad story

Condolences

I read that the plane was flying at 5,000 feet, and asked to descend to 2,500 before disappearing. In a small aircraft that altitude can be extremely bumpy, even in otherwise perfect conditions. Certainly enough to scare many people. Feels like a roller-coaster at times, the wind tosses you around like a rag-doll.
