Would have him back in a heartbeat. He would improve us 50 per cent on his own.
Having a genuine elite centre mid who can just retain possession so well is more valuable than any other position in my opinion. If Wales had him he'd bring Bale etc into the game so much more. Same with England, he'd connect the midfield with the attack so much better.
 
Don't understand playing Trippier at LB when you have Shaw and Chilwell?

Would rather see Sancho out there than Sterling, but I guess against Croatia Sterling's work off the ball might be worth having.

It seems an intentional tactic that we don't challenge Croatia in our half in the last 3rd and keep standing off, standing off allowing them to walk through us?
