Tell me you have never lived in Tottenham without telling me you have never lived in Tottenham.

Also, "little old Tottenham Hotspur" Tottenham have never been "little" maybe you should read into our history a bit more before slinging rocks at the club to defend an owner who doesn't give a shit about you.

I can't disagree we have a world class stadium and that, in terms of finances and league position ENIC have improved us; but acting like they are this fucking loving and empathetic entity that did all of this out of the goodness of their hearts for the local community is absolute drivel quite frankly.
Absolute dross mate.

Feel free to sign the petition, I've just explained my reasons why I'm not.

I haven't signed it because I don't understand what the consequences of Levy standing down are.
I don't know what it would achieve if Levy stepped back. He might still be there pulling the strings behind a puppet.
I think he's done a good job financially and results wise for the money spent . But he has made mistakes and continues to do so. Its those errors he needs to eradicate or minimise. Maybe by appointing someone under him who knows what they are doing and not fleecing the club. A football man, probably a DOF , a clean one.

I've just clicked this link and decided to take a look at the other petitions on the website and there really are some powerful ones which deserve alot more attention than some Tottenham fans moaning about a Chairman who has turned little old Tottenham Hotspur into one of the biggest clubs in the World, whilst also building a World Class Stadium for the fans to use aswell as plans to develop the Tottenham area to improve other people lives in the community so I think I'll sign a more important petition thank you.
That is an inane strawman argument that applies to any and every consideration in life.

Why are you posting on this forum? An utterly pointless howl into the internet void, when you could be performing morally virtuous tasks in and around your person?

In fact, why not give up your job, follow the example of Franciscan monks and wander the streets, offering to bathe the feet of weary travellers. You could use whatever meagre funds you raise to purchase sapling seeds, to be planted in communal areas so as to raise societal wellbeing and also reoxegenate the atmosphere.

Not really, I've given the reasons why I would choose not to sign the petition.

Maybe you can't accept my reasoning because you're so against the current owners which is fine, but there are people that support this club too that are not begging for them to leave.

So please sign the petition and see if it brings change if it will satisfy you.

I couldn’t care less if you sign it or not. I also know it will make no difference.

What is utter drivel is your attempt to diminish the conversation by pointing to other petitions.

We're 3rd in the league in attendance, my friend. Supporters vastly overrate their leverage and, relatedly, their ability to walk away. We're obsessed, which is why the growth of the commercial side of the sport has been exponential for decades. Football is a drug.

We like to think we'll get the hump and walk away. We won't. And the line to take up the spots for the few that do is more than sufficient.

Football at premier league level is not that bad value for money compared to league 2.

For most people it’s a lifestyle choice. Football has become like going to the theatre.
And for others like you say it’s a drug that they can’t do without. Always more addicts around the corner. But maybe less as time goes on. None of my under 16s or under 18s were that bothered about going to see football matches regularly due to the cost.

Wonder if as they get older they will never really get hooked the way I did as a teenager.

You'd get something for Son. A footballer with a pulse is worth "something", so don't be dramatic. Son would be in the tens of millions today, but not a big amount by any means.

Kane would net more than 60, but yeah his market has shrank as well. Either way, he's not going to sign another contract with Spurs. So it's sell him for £75M(?) or let him leave on a free. If he stays, we aren't getting top 4 next year with him and minor reinforcements.

Keeping Kane costs us 1 or 2 players for the future, and isn't gonna benefit us in a tangible way, IMO.
Too much emphasis on Kane altogether. Great player but he's only one man. If we could sell for a respectable amount this summer in order to invest for the future, I'm all for it. Wait a year and get nothing.
And we don't want a repeat of the last fiasco when he came back late and put no effort in until a quarter of the way into the season.

That's such mush-brained reasoning. So we can go into administration and get sent down to League One and there will still be 62,850 paying champagne Champions League prices? You don't think that. There is a limiting principle, we're just haggling over where that line is.

The reality is that the bill just hasn't come due for Levy's sabotage of Poch yet. We've been either in or within touching distance of the Champions League continuously since 2015, with beloved club legend star players and elite superstar managers. Plus of course the stadium itself as a brand-new attraction.

We've danced on the precipice of losing all that for years. We can probably still do so for another 18 months or so with the requisite combination of skill and cynicism, both of which our leadership has in spades, I would not bet against them. But something entirely different comes after.

9th place Kane-less Arne Slot-helmed Spurs is not a product that has met the marketplace yet. It will, and it won't be pretty for the club's revenue or takeover valuation.
Jesus christ your being a bit dramatic mentioning fucking League One.

Let's compare notes next year when, like clockwork, you'll be here saying "Levy better pay up this summer or there won't be anyone in the stadium next year!"

It's fucking Groundhog Day, my man. We'll average 60k+ again next year no matter what happens this summer.

I don’t get why people are mocking the petition.

Everyone knows it won’t make a bit of difference, certainly not in a meaningful way, but it’s a start in raising the conversation about ENIC’s competence. And you’ll all be signing it if we’re in 15th place this time next season.

If people don’t do anything they’re lazy, if they do do something they’re deluded.

Is armed resistance the only thing to be considered suitably authentic?

Everyone is well aware of ENIC's incompetence though, who are you actually trying to preach to by actually having a petition?

So just you won’t sign it because you don’t agree with it then instead of posting virtue signalling bollocks about there being better ones to support.

😂

We've yet to complete our second full season of in-person attendance at the new stadium, a period thus far of quite a bit of success, major European nights, the glow around Conte while it lasted, the new car period of the facility itself, etc.

Just being outside the CL alone lowers the total matchday take considerably for lack of those games.

The club's revenue tables are still dining out on the Poch miracle. Just a simple fact. That ends soon, and the only path to sustaining that revenue level is wild transfer market splurging.

The football business sucks, it never was and never will be rational or stable. ENIC have a chance to ride out at rare winners. They'll regret not taking it.

Yes. The revolution needs to start now!! We shall fight them in the executive boardrooms!!

We have just got soft. All a bit upset our multimillion £ football club is a bit shit.

My dads cousins started an uprising, People died.
My other half’s great grandad was in the original IRA. People died.

They would just laugh at our “online petitions” wouldn’t they. Not that important is it really.
