It's all over. The billionaires have won. The financialisation of everything is almost complete. The hardcore support only go to sustain the nostalgia, but the club is so far removed from what it was when they started going, many of them are giving up or checking out. Not even got the connection to the stadium anymore, being where you were as a kid. At least it isn't in Stratford, not for the want of trying.

Pretty soon, it will be all Korean and American tourists and generation FIFA, with their disinterested partners watching their phones and trying to ignore talk of"CDMs" or whatever fucking stupid name they come up with now. Whether they will want to stump up 80 quid a ticket to watch the 2030 answer to Gary Doherty playing for 8th place remains to be seen.

But by then, the go karts will be in full flow so the bottom line should still be good. Newcastle will be on their way to a 5th consecutive title with Arteta in charge, so that's something to look forward to. At which point, Real Madrid, Bayern and Barca will finally have enough support from City, Utd and Liverpool for the Superleague. Spurs will join of course, and we go from midtable premier league to rock bottom of the super league, without the respite of relegation. I have seen the future; a billionaires boot, stamping on the face of a fan in a half and half scarf, forever.

I'm off to Notts County tomorrow to watch Wealdstone, and I am looking forward to that so much more than going to Spurs on Sat.

We've yet to complete our second full season of in-person attendance at the new stadium, a period thus far of quite a bit of success, major European nights, the glow around Conte while it lasted, the new car period of the facility itself, etc.

Just being outside the CL alone lowers the total matchday take considerably for lack of those games.

The club's revenue tables are still dining out on the Poch miracle. Just a simple fact. That ends soon, and the only path to sustaining that revenue level is wild transfer market splurging.

The football business sucks, it never was and never will be rational or stable. ENIC have a chance to ride out at rare winners. They'll regret not taking it.
hopefully Son goes and the Korean selfie masses F off too

Thanks for letting me know, I clearly am not looking at how good a job the club has done.
Please accept my apologies 👍
Correct. 83% of spurs fans think we are in better shape than 2001.

Also, less than 25% of fans think winning trophies are the most important factor when choosing the new manager. Over half of fans think playing good football is the most important factor. So the trophy brigade on here are a loud (and angry) minority.

Of course we are in better shape than we were in 2001 and its not surprising that 83% of fans think that. But that in NO WAY means that 83% of any thing near that percentage of fans are happy. The vast majority of fans know that Levy has screwed up on running the football side of the business and want change.
We want to watch attractive football and so Levy appoints Jose, Nuno and Conte!!! He appoints win now managers and doesn’t give them the players they need. Levy should stick to property deals.

I don’t get why people are mocking the petition.

Everyone knows it won’t make a bit of difference, certainly not in a meaningful way, but it’s a start in raising the conversation about ENIC’s competence. And you’ll all be signing it if we’re in 15th place this time next season.

If people don’t do anything they’re lazy, if they do do something they’re deluded.

Is armed resistance the only thing to be considered suitably authentic?
YES!!!!

Spam are above us in attendance, Woolwich below.

Again, we're going on how many years of people predicting "Levy has to change tact or the stadium will be empty"?

No. It won't. Saying such things at this point is silly. There's no mass exodus of supporters coming to force Levy's hand.
I’ve seen videos of people going to the stadium for the experience, like my boy did , you get a meal etc . 65-70% of the “ customers “ there are from overseas , Korean , America . These numbers will drop once we lose Son & Kane

I've just clicked this link and decided to take a look at the other petitions on the website and there really are some powerful ones which deserve alot more attention than some Tottenham fans moaning about a Chairman who has turned little old Tottenham Hotspur into one of the biggest clubs in the World, whilst also building a World Class Stadium for the fans to use aswell as plans to develop the Tottenham area to improve other people lives in the community so I think I'll sign a more important petition thank you.
What petition did you sign then?
