Again, I’m sure Lewis has a yacht, we learned how sinkable they are lately. Lure them on to it for one big ENIC party and then Die Hard the shit out of it.
And you are Hans Gruber in this scenario?
Can see Levy as John Mclane.... scenes of him in his white tank top hunting you, JT and Doomfunk down.

The comparisons being made above to local pubs are silly. A football match is an event, with thousands of people guaranteed to be in attendance, none of whom can wander in and out willy-nilly - once you're in, if you leave then you can't come back in. They are a captive market for those few hours. So a better comparison would be to a major music festival, say Reading or Glastonbury etc. Now, it's a few years since I've been to a major profit-making paid-entry festival, but even a few years ago you would be lucky to get a pint for less than £8, it's probably more now. And that's for a pint of standard lager or cider served in a paper cup only about 90% full by an untrained kid who is only wokring there for the weekend. So in my several visits to the TH Stadium since it opened, I've always been amazed at how cheap a pint is; certainly on our last visit (2023) I was expecting to get very little change from a tenner! So of all the legitimate things to moan at the owners about, unreasonably expensive food & drink prices is definitely not one of them.
Lot of bollox in this post. The comparisons being made above to local pubs are silly. Was about to say the same.
Went to a tiny festival at the end of July in south London and shit beer for £8 a can was the only option.
Tickets for the day were £50ish too.
Are Spurs a Christmas Club?Again, I’m sure Lewis has a yacht, we learned how sinkable they are lately. Lure them on to it for one big ENIC party and then Die Hard the shit out of it.
What on earth isWas about to say the same.

Just stating facts about how people that run events charge people who attend.
You can disagree with that factSpiderSpurs but being very good friends with someone who works in sponsorship in events be it sports or music, it's just how it is.
I agree with you that it's not right and that we shouldn't be fleeced this way, but it's just the way of it everywhere.
Just sitting in an airport in Bostson where they are charging $15 for a pint...
His post agreed with yours, which was bollox. Hence the disagree. It's quite simple. What on earth isSpiderSpurs disagreeing with here?
SpiderSpurs are you disagreeing that
dudu paid £8 for a can of beer at a festival, are you saying he is lying? I don't understand what you are disagreeing with. Do you want add any sort of rationale or explanation?

Which parts are bollox? Happy to be persuaded that I'm wrong somehow...
All of it.Which parts are bollox? Happy to be persuaded that I'm wrong somehow...![]()
It's as if it's the first time he's experienced capitalism.
What's the point in having a stadium with the best facilities and charging pub prices for drinks, we're not running a charity ffs
Aha, good point, and well articulated, I hadn't thought of it like that! I wasn't convinced at first, but your identification of facts, and your application of logical thinking to those facts in order to explain your rationale has won me over, thanks for helping me to see the matter in a different way.
