Another one for the trophy cabinet, guys

:tobyarm:
Spurs tranches, you say?

Go away Daniel!!

We do not believe any money made by levy-enic from property investments would go back into the club.
More like Daniel's back pocket.
How can u still back these leaches? The reason Harry Kane wants to leave is because of them.
It's excuse after excuse with these freaks, ain't it.

Now proven beyond doubt there is no level to which ENIC can stoop, no deed they could do that could change their minds or their infatuation.

The more they kick the fans when we're down the more they lap it up.

I know it's only a handful but it's disturbing stuff tbh. I'm wondering if there's some underlying issue with their childhood maybe manifesting itself here

I think it's time.
A young, dynamic team that the fans can get behind, even if there is no chance of a major trophy, but building towards something in 2 or 3 years ... when guys like Scarlett and Devine should be becoming first team players.

Run back what happened with Poch in other words.
Sounds good. But that takes us to a quarter of a century under the ENIC model and we all know what will happen if the likes of Scarlett or Devine became world class and the team started challenging.

The manager wouldn't be backed, and our stars would need to move on to fulfill their potential and the cycle starts again

We can all pretend otherwise and tell ourselves our time will come. But deep down, we all know it's just a pipe dream under €NIC.

Still people defending them. Incredible. Whatever your views were lets take the last 6 months 1) Didn't sack Mourinho end of January when it was clear he was done and potentially cost us top 4 2) Eventually sacked him 6 days before a final, 3) Appointed a 29 yr old novice, 4) The ESL, 5) No apology for weeks on the ESL 6) The disgrace of the ticketing policy/seating at the Villa game, 7) The worst, most shambolic managerial hunt of any premier league club since....ours in 2003/4. I dont know if he is chasing his tail or has had some sort of breakdown but he needs to be removed before this club can start to move on.

Who are they trying to convince? 1 trophy in 20 years for the 9th richest club in the world ...that's abject failure and yet they still produce some made up stat to absolve enic and levy of any responsibility

During the stadium build I did give them slack and was willing to live with the ‘’doing it the right way’’ narrative. I don’t expect high spending but at least a coherent plan, that cost nothing.

It was the way the club acted during the stadium build in regard to transfers saying it wouldn’t affect spending, we didn’t spend for 18 months and it made some fans believe Poch didn’t want new players or a rebuild. So when it when it went tits up it all got thrown on Poch. If they had been honest and said it will affect spending, I think most fans would have accepted the difficultly at the time with Poch and the club in general. It reminded me of Jol a bit the way we treated him.

There is no two ways about it, Levy is a nasty piece of shit in how he treats people. It sometimes works and it will work with Kane who won’t be leaving for anything less than a record fee. But the treatment of fans, managers and the total lack of a plan on the football side just blows my mind. I could argue for and against in previous years but it’s really really hard to argue for Levy to remain as chairman, his position is untenable with the fans and I don’t see that relationship ever repairing.

Maybe, but ENIC aren't going anywhere. Still, it is good for your wellbeing that you can vent here I guess.

What's your plan goofy?

Carry on feeding the leeches to continue expanding their property portfolio?

You ain't Spurs mate. You're ENIC. A Daniel Levy car washer. A troll who thought £60 for the Villa game was great value and the peasants should just shut the fuck up, sit where their told, and be happy with their lot.

You, my friend, are the fucking problem with our football club.

Oh no, how will I survive been told I'm not Spurs by 'not one brick' Tommo.

You've been peddling the same boring message on this board for about 10 years now mate. Every day slagging the club, Levy, the board, players, managers, other fans ...... blah blah zzzzzz.

The amount of enjoyment you get from 'supporting' the club could probably fit on the end of a needle.

But hey you're number 1 fan right and anyone who's supported the club through thick and thin ain't Spurs.

Why are you still going on about the Villa game? Did you pay the 60 and feel cheated as we played crap? S/t holders were the only ones that could apply and maybe when they devide the S/T price by the number of matches it does not come to 60 but for non S/T holders 60 is not abnormal. I paid more for the Norwich P/L match the previous season in the East upper where many were seated. I agree with some of your anti Levy claims but not this one and do not care what other clubs charged. Had I have gone I would not have been concerned about the price of the ticket but would have been pissed off about the standard of play.
J Thomas, You disagreed but did not say if you paid the price. Are you a s/t holder? As I said there are lots of anti ENIC issues but this really is not one in my opinion. With the cost of ticketing and staffing I doubt they actually made any profit from 10000 fans being in the stadium. I would have found it acceptable for all clubs to put 2fingers up to the Government and say it is not cost effective to have such low attendances allow more or we will stay shut. That would have hurt fans but really I spend more than £60 when going to Spurs in train ticket, food &drink & taxi home from station. Stick to the real problems like lack of success, selling best players & losing the purchase of players due to nitpicking.

Just checking; you are aware that the property investments will make significant money for the club right? The Stadium is estimated to generate upwards of 100m per year in revenue.

We made around 60m a year in profit (pre COVID) - and that was with champs league income. Under FFP club has to retain no more that a 30m loss over 3 years. 90m doesn't even cover Ndomele's contract - so if you want the club to spend more, they have to generate more.

SO, PLEASE TAKE YOUR PICK

- Take a loan out to pay for players and salary - Disallowed under FFP
- Just buy more players, forget about profits - Disallowed under FFP
- Have rich owners throw money at football club - Disallowed under FFP (Yes, I know City pulled a fast one - but we are not that sort of club)
- Take a loan out to pay for infrastructure which generates revenue - Allowed for FFP
- Sell all your best players - Allowed for FFP
There are ways that owners can put money in or loan the club under FFP, it just can’t be repeated year on year. Roman lumped in a 250m gift a few seasons ago

I have nothing against Potter. He's done seemingly well with Brighton and must have some tactical talent to him.

However, if we sign him after this long, this is a gargantuan failure on Levy's part. Either he's not shown the ambition to convi ce his first choices or he's wanted Potter all along but decided to delay it this long for some unknown reason to the detriment of "on the pitch"-related planning.

If it's a Euro 2020 manager, at least it would make sense and I'd respect the need to keep this quiet to avoid unsettling their national team.

But the problem is, I'm not seeing a particularly impressive Euro 2020 manager out there right now bar Mancini or maybe joachim lowe (though I'm not sure how effective hed be as a club manager with a subpar squad these days).

And you must hate it that after all this time I've been proved right, my old mucka'.
Absolutely hate it. I feel for you.

Btw, you'll find I support our managers. Especially over achieving ones like Poch. And I rarely criticise our players.
I support Spurs mate, you see. Unlike you, I don't blindly support €NIC

I relinquished my membership last year. And like many others I've now made a concientious decision to refrain from buying any club merchandise or purchasing any match tickets so long as the leeches are still profiting from my club.

You know, I find it astounding that you're still prepared to support the Villa ticket pricing scam.
We charged at least 50% more than all other 19 clubs and we were the only club to then park everyone as far away from the action as possible.

How is it that every other club found it within them to make some gesture of goodwill towards their fans. Free tickets. Reduced ticket prices etc. But we couldn't. Or wouldn't?

Why are you defending this blatant and disgusting exploitation of our fans loyalty?
It baffles me.

So if you did not pay the £60 what is the concern that others did. I have given up my membership this year and am annoyed they brought it forward from August to May when I did not know the likelyhood of the Government allowing sufficient capacity for me to get tickets. I did moan on here about their decision however I got my own back by cancelling. In the same way you are getting your own back by not paying them any money. How is it exploitation of fans if you are not forced to pay and in fact only limited numbers can go?
I am no ENIC supporter but am getting fed up with complaints about petty matters being constantly repeated time and time again.
I will criticise them for cashing in on Kane if it happens especially if we end up with a below par replacement like Jesus. That is important but 10000 s/t holders paying £60 for a ticket when that is the going rate for tickets in the East upper stand is not.
