Yeah unless something dramatic changes they've broken me. The under investment, continually pleading poverty, Mourinho, the ESL, then this managerial search to end up with Nuno. Its their tin eared arrogance that really gets me. Saw my first game in 1977 and bar a year when i was abroad and the pandemic i've always seen at least a handfull of games a season. I won't be going next season, not getting a penny more from me. ENIC out.

You really don't get it do you, you're in the ground, paid for a ticket and by the sounds of it couldn't possibly just wait until you get outside to the nearest pub for a beer.

You could clamber up to his seat and teabag his Mrs in front of him as protest if you like, he wouldn't give a flying fuck as long as you've bought his fucking ale and an artisinal pork pie...

And the total list was purported to be in the mid-40's right?

And the list was made up largely of people who became members to buy individual tickets right, and thus very likely aren't clamoring for season tickets?

U can get a beer and food outside, before and after the game. Plenty of pubs and food outlets on the high road

Behave yourself, i've probably been to more football grounds than you've had hot dinners and so any fuckwits who thinks football fans are going to avoid drinking at the game isn't really living on planet earth.

I suggested an alternative which you may not like. But it doesn't change my point that asking fans who have paid good money for a ticket and travel to the game to avoid drinking is a fucking shitty idea which has zero chance of happening. If you think otherwise dream on. The rest of us will live in reality.
 
My friend, who has been a member since the new stadium opened, has just told me that he can apply for a season ticket from 10am on 30/6.

Poor sod wants to do it to escape the lockdown life. Talk about a dilemma.

Fans committing to doing their eating and drinking at independently owned pubs and whatnot outside the stadium would actually be an extremely effective way to target ENIC while supporting the club as an ecosystem and community broadly considered.
