I reckon a lot of season ticket holders will pack it in unless things change.

Tickets are easily available and it’s a nightmare to sell tickets for games you can’t attend.

The only upside is the off chance we’ll get to final (which we’ll lose)

Possibly.

I’m of the mindset that I support the team, not the manager and definitely not the owners. Just those on the grass for 90 minutes. Plus why should I stop going to games because the owners are wankers. Their dickishness shouldn’t prevent me from enjoying myself (or more likely not) on a match day.

What I can do, is not buy merchandise and also drink and eat outside the ground.

But your point about not being able to offload tickets to games you can’t go to is a good one and the one big reason why season ticket numbers could possibly drop. As one thing is for certain, they won’t reduce ticket prices. They are far too greedy to do that.

It’s happening again isn’t it.
I can’t believe I thought for a second it might be different.
Conte can hang about for a 18 months and pick up a huge salary. It will have no bearing whatsoever on his reputation.
Once his time here is up, he can go to Liverpool, Man City or eve United. The former 2 I reckon could quite well be in the midst of change by then.
So depressing.
We really need to boycott the stadium.
Take the steps United fans did.
Block access to the station when NFL, boxing, Lady Gaga is happening.
Really screw them in the pocket and force them to lower their valuation and sell.

Not covid

West spam had 60 000 last night against a useless Norwich.

What’s their capacity these days?

I know ST holders there not gone last month and another who said seemed at least a third empty against Southampton.
Are they doing a woolwich and massaging their attendances?

And right now they are living in a “this might not happen again” moment.
You would expect them to show up before they get relegated again ;)

Exhibit A for the prosecution.
COVID free London stadium!! People must dress up as seats on Boxing Day.

The lack of fans is a combination of factors. Expense, logistics & covid being three of them. However fans will deal with that if they think the team have a chance of winning or at least competing.

I knew we would lose the game yesterday before I even left the house and then when East Mid Yid East Mid Yid showed me the team it confirmed my expectations.

Under Pochettino I went to every match thinking we would win or have a chance of winning. I miss that.

The main upside though is that it doesn't take 20 mins to get a beer or a burger.

Absolutely no need for anyone to be an ST holder any more. I will probably go back to membership next season and cherry pick my games. Corporate tickets were on offer for £50 yesterday. Food, drink & legend. I will probably go that way, Do half the games and only spend the same amount of money.

I'm rambling.
60000 spam fans against cannon fodder is a reality check last night.
Excuses for poor crowds don't stack up as people don't believe

Touching 60,000.

I know. I saw most of them at Stratford last night.

Pretty sure they don't pay the same ticket prices that we do and they are currently in a 'once in a lifetime' period of not being shit.

Our new stadium was built to house 20k tourists, when the team is shit and the club is engulfed in a cloud of despondency, those tourists go elsewhere.

Maybe not but the point is that our crowds are diminishing rapidly and some are blaming other circumstances .

Ticket pricing is fucked at our stadium. Champagne pricing and Liebfraumilch on offer.

Something has to give.
Good thing is for levy at the moment they sell season tickets and people don’t go. ENIC still have the cash in the bank.

But I’m about 100k on the ST waiting list wonder when I get offered one again.

In the past people will have said 10 years. My guess is 2-3.

Anyone that wants an ST would get one.
