I said at the end of the transfer window our window had been dog shit.
I got attacked and chastised. We’d one the window I was told.
I think we can say I was right after all. We won’t get top 4 this season.
Even a signing such as Fraser Forster didn’t get nearly as much heat as it should have.

I couldn’t believe my eyes at how bad he was at times today. The man can hardly move.

Imagine if Lloris (who’s been barely adequate all season too I might add) got an injury and Forster had to be our first choice? What other top club would stand for such negligence?

Forster should be that 3rd choice keeper you sign to fulfil the HG quota who doesn’t get a second of game time.

Just unacceptable cheap, penny pinching bullshit.

ENIC defenders - assemble!

He’ll be looking for a new manager in that case which will offset any minor savings for speculative late deals. Runt
Unfortunately we know how it goes . I did / still hope that this time levy has learnt his lesson but history makes that hard to hold on to. We were told that last summer was too early , it’s all about Jan , next we’ll hear the winter transfer is difficult but just you wait for the summer one . I doubt Conte will wait though

It’s not happened yet so I’ll hang on to a bit of hope but it does have the air of much of the same .

Solid, aggressive signing....The ENIC boys rammed down our throats.

In reality. Joe Hart MKII

I know people on here are so dug in on their respective viewpoints but i think most would agree that there were some good things and some bad between them taking over and the new stadium being completed. However what have they bought to the table since around 2017? More importantly how will they improve us from where we currently are?

They have made some horrendous decisions, not backing Poch in 16 or 17, Mourinho, the farce of a 3 month managerial search to end up with Nuno, the way fans were treated at the first match back after covid v Villa, the Super league and the reluctant half arsed apology, the DNA statement followed by appointing Nuno and a failure to seize the moment summer of 2022.

Poor decisions have set the club back, lacking in foresight has cost us dearly, but fortunately us fans will still keep paying top prices so all good.

There is no excuse now. We all well most accepted the stadium and facilities was priority for many years, well stadium is done and Covid is over. ENIC should either show what they are made of or sell to someone who can take the club forward on the football side. The time is now not next summer or the following winter.

Agreed. But its all vey Deja vu. Every window we say this & they let us down despite the Enic fans saying it was a smash hit window. Then the manager is left with a team not fit for purpose. Levy sacks them, cycle repeats itself. But as you say, hopefully Enic will show us what they are made of & invest & buy some good footballers for a change this window.

So no trophy in 14 years , 1 small trophy in 22 years , yet Levy is the highest paid person in the league in his position I believe . So paid an absolute fortune for 1 Carling Cup , bargain

EDIT : Trophies are clearly not what his package is based on , otherwise he gets a packet of Twiglets that are past their sell by date from the BP garage
