Well, it'll be hard for me to join in an organised protest at the Qatar embassy in Dublin seeing as there wasn't one.
Whereas , there has been at least 3 anti Enic protests at WHL, with plenty of notice and hardly anyone turned up.
It was embarrassing, but I fully respect those that did go .
The point is that over 60,000 people can go and watch us play every other week, but only a handful can be arsed to protest.
Even if the most "vocal" ones are there, on the spot, going to the game.
It's pathetic.

I'm sure you could have formed one. Or popped over to London, I believe there were several protests due to construction deaths. Since this is a waaaaaay more important issue than wanting football owners out.
People don't protest for lots of reasons. Mainly because they know it is ineffective (they're right) and because the fanbase is far from united on being ENIC out so the numbers are crap. People generally don't waste their time stood in the rain protesting when they're certain it will achieve fuck all.
I don't blame those people. You're better off boycotting watching Spurs and never putting a penny in to the club .. and even then the effectiveness of this protest is highly limited.

I've never blame any of the Enic out crowd for not attending a protest if they live outside of the country.
And have said that on here previously.
And because they are in a tiny, albeit very vocal, minority.
But they're quite willing to waste 100s of hours and type 1000s of words on the subject, even though it'll have no effect whatsoever.
That's my point. Many, but not all, of the anti Enic crowd are, or claim to be ST holders.
They're there, on the ground, attending the game, but don't join the protest even if it is futile.
They complain about Enic being only interested in profits and the club being a "cash cow" but are quite happy to contribute to that.

It’s about the failure to invest at times we most certainly could have matched and overtaken City, United and Liverpool. This was the case under Harry. More so under MoPo when we had the foundations of something excellent. I remember we beat Liverpool 4-1. We were far superior in every department. Liverpool spent, we penny pinched and stagnated. There’s no reason we can’t match these teams with smart investment. Look at what Woolwich are doing now! And, they will do precisely and exactly what we didn’t do: invest in a young, hungry team. Look what Liverpool have done with far less resources than City, Utd and Chelsea. It’s madness to think otherwise; to think we just take it. You really are delusional.
We are a big club with incredibly wealthy owners. We are generating massive revenues. Our chairman is the highest paid chairman in the league and we have the highest tickets prices in the league. We deserve so much better.

You do know that the stadium was completed in 2019 , getting on for 4 years ago & work started 7 years ago , not enough time to sort out a deal ?

The thing is I am not pro Levy or ENIC and criticise when I think they are wrong but some just criticise everything and do not accept that they have improved in the last couple of years putting money in, Levy taking a back seat on negotiations . It really is pointless bringing up historical data, I cannot understand what provoked this deluge of posts against the owners at this time.

I can sort of understand the last reason. We all love acceptance and to be told we are right. Maybe folk are bored because they’ve got time off. The complaints in this thread are entirely pointless, mine included. Levy is going nowhere, neither is the club. Our role in the Prem is to keep things interesting for the big clubs. We aren’t designed to be one of the big boys. In and around 4-7th place and the odd semi-final, maybe a couple finals every 20 years. That’s us and that always will be us unless the club capitulates entirely. At least you can say with Levy/Enic the capitulation is unlikely.
I’m not even sure the Prem is structured for Spurs to be any different anyway. Especially now the Saudi’s are buying a seat at the table through Newcastle.
