It’s not raining, that’s Levy pissing down your neck. He’s just telling you it’s raining.

Well, it'll be hard for me to join in an organised protest at the Qatar embassy in Dublin seeing as there wasn't one.You didn't go to the Qatari embassy with a placard? But you were very vocal on this issue. Very passionate, made lots of posts about it. Had a lot to say about how horrible the Qatari government were, yet didn't go out there and do something for real change.
I didn't do anything as I wasn't passionate about the issue. But you were.
The point being: You don't have to be out on the streets protesting just because you're strongly anti Qatar, expressing your views on here is perfectly fair. As is expressing a dislike towards ENIC on here, everyone vents/protests/expresses themselves in different ways. Honestly, moaning on here is about as effective as standing out in the rain with a placard.
Well, it'll be hard for me to join in an organised protest at the Qatar embassy in Dublin seeing as there wasn't one.
Whereas , there has been at least 3 anti Enic protests at WHL, with plenty of notice and hardly anyone turned up.
It was embarrassing, but I fully respect those that did go .
The point is that over 60,000 people can go and watch us play every other week, but only a handful can be arsed to protest.
Even if the most "vocal" ones are there, on the spot, going to the game.
It's pathetic.
1) You can't pick and choose who will buy the club, that's the danger. No, I don’t want owners like UTD.
I do want owners that are able and willing to get the players they want in the transfer market.
I do think we could match Woolwich in spending and with a more ambitious policy we could have been winning the things Liverpool have been winning and matching their revenues. Woolwich actually spent more than Liverpool the last 2 years.
I'd have literally no idea how to form one.
Possibly, if I had the money, but I didn't know they were on.
And because they are in a tiny, albeit very vocal, minority.I believe there were several protests due to construction deaths. Since this is a waaaaaay more important issue than wanting football owners out.
People don't protest for lots of reasons. Mainly because they know it is ineffective (they're right) and because the fanbase is far from united on being ENIC out so the numbers are crap
But they're quite willing to waste 100s of hours and type 1000s of words on the subject, even though it'll have no effect whatsoever.. People generally don't waste their time stood in the rain protesting when they're certain it will achieve fuck all.
That's my point. Many, but not all, of the anti Enic crowd are, or claim to be ST holders.I don't blame those people. You're better off boycotting watching Spurs and never putting a penny in to the club .. and even then the effectiveness of this protest is highly limited.
Nah... I don't believe all the shite. It’s not raining, that’s Levy pissing down your neck. He’s just telling you it’s raining.
It’s not just about now it’s about the last 20+ years. In terms of this current squad - the damage is done and we are now in stagnation mode. Conte will go; Kane will go. And at that point, what’s left?No and no.
See how simple it is to answer questions honestly, without any BS.
No flannel, no waffle, no excuses, just a one word honest answer.
My turn;
Do you want owners like Utd, who have taken a BILLION pounds out of the club, and loaded them with debt without any security ?
Do you seriously believe that we can match City, Utd, and Liverpool in spending considering their revenue is vastly bigger than ours ?
I won't try and guess your answers.
2) Those are 3 different clubs with 3 different budgets. Nobody in the world can compete with City. UTD are in the next tier with Real. Do I believe that Spurs can compete with Liverpool for transfer budgets? Absolutely.1) You can't pick and choose who will buy the club, that's the danger.
We could get an Abramovich, or a Glaser, who knows.
2) That wasn't the question.
The question was ;
Do you seriously believe that we can match CITY, UTD, AND LIVERPOOL in spending considering their revenue is vastly bigger than ours ?
Large bands usually book venues way in advance , we have 6 months of nada16 extra events at @£1m per event equals £16m a year, but we shouldn't bother.
I can absolutely guarantee that more events will be added as the year goes on.
We did have the European Rugby final as well, but that was moved due to the late finish of the PL.
Let's not bother with naming rights either as that will only bring in, roughly, £10m a year.
So that was signed after our deal for our purpose built NFL stadiumMaybe it's because Wembley has a deal in place until 2025?

NFL to play at least two games a year at Wembley under new deal
The NFL has signed a deal with Wembley that it hopes will eventually lead to a full-time gridiron franchise in Londonwww.theguardian.com
You do know that the media , players coming over will report their findings , as dustybin mentioned. I can’t remember the players he quotedThe fans are English. So this whole 'tailgate' party talk is empty headed. We do exactly the same things at football only we eat and drink in pubs in at and around the ground. Not getting carbonmonoxide poisoning in a carpark. Like some weird Yankee doggers (I say this with love).
Many of us on this site start Spurs game days with a fry up on route and get home after midnight.
Regards the pitch issues, the whole thing about pitches is the ongoing nature of the work. If there are problems they will redesign relay and fix it. We didn't build an NFL stadium for a one off contract.
That chart is revenue not wealth.Nor a team in 3rd place being up to their arse in debt.
Amazing how some people get confused between revenue and "wealth".
The thing is I am not pro Levy or ENIC and criticise when I think they are wrong but some just criticise everything and do not accept that they have improved in the last couple of years putting money in, Levy taking a back seat on negotiations . It really is pointless bringing up historical data, I cannot understand what provoked this deluge of posts against the owners at this time. The thing is that most of those advocating for lower ticket prices would still complain about not spending more if they were reduced.
Because it’s all too little, too lateThe thing is I am not pro Levy or ENIC and criticise when I think they are wrong but some just criticise everything and do not accept that they have improved in the last couple of years putting money in, Levy taking a back seat on negotiations . As one trophy in 20 years becomes 1 trophy in 21, 22, 23 years the anger, frustration and questions will, rightly, inrease. The thing is I am not pro Levy or ENIC and criticise when I think they are wrong but some just criticise everything and do not accept that they have improved in the last couple of years putting money in, Levy taking a back seat on negotiations . We drew a match. The thing is I am not pro Levy or ENIC and criticise when I think they are wrong but some just criticise everything and do not accept that they have improved in the last couple of years putting money in, Levy taking a back seat on negotiations . We drew a match.
Chelsea signed a player.
One posts and the others flock to it like flies to shit. Get those dopamine hits for every like.
I can sort of understand the last reason. We all love acceptance and to be told we are right. Maybe folk are bored because they’ve got time off. As the main fucking idiot said above, the non pitchfork holders don’t help matters by responding to their bile. Maybe we just let this thread become an echo chamber for anti ENIC feeling? Problem with that is when they aren’t being acknowledged, they just invade every other thread with it. It’s a shame, as there’s some good points of view lost in the mud.
It’s often said that people use here as a place to rant, vent and get things off their chest. Wasn’t like that to begin with. People came here to be positive. To have a laugh.
Ach, I like a moan as much as the next person. And I’m touchy as Dick. Just bored of the same people saying the same things over and over again. Probably I’m boring them by complaining every so often.Times have changed you happy clapper bastard you.
11 years ago we had hope. Bale was our Luke skywalker, the stadium was a vision and a cheese room was a dream we were yet to have.
And now the fact we never got our jacobs crackers with an endless supply of dairylea triangles means some of us can’t forgive Levy that easily.
That shit stings.
Merry Christmas btw.
