Yet again, Levy / ENIC slip out a major announcement outside the normal press cycle.

From the website statement, Daniel Levy, Chairman: “Scott has a unique and broad experience of running sporting organisations at the highest level and will take responsibility for the leadership and management of our football activities to instil best practice both on and off the pitch.”

So this Munn guy is in charge of all football activities at Spurs, but none of us know who the fuck he is, and he seems to have no background in European football whatsoever.

If we going to take a chance on someone with no experience in European football, I'd rather appoint Gallardo as head coach.

This Munn appointment sounds like the usual management consultant, pass the buck, bollocks from Levy & ENIC.
Another faceless accountant to join the ranks.
No experience of European football, who on the board, is fucking his wife to get this over the line.

Spurs fans: 'We need Levy to step away from the footballing side'

Also Spurs fans:' Levy is clearly passing the buck onto someone else'

I recall Charlie Eccleshare (guy who covers Spurs for The Athletic) saying that Levy was never away from the training ground until Paratici was hired, then he was hardly there.

Already a step away from the football side.

This is another step away, but the “Levy needs to step away from the football side” brigade still aren’t happy.

We could become a powerhouse of football in the future, wininning multiple leagues and cups and they still wouldn’t be happy. It’s like Levy shagged all their mums or something.

Agree with you.

Now let's see if some investment is also coming into the club.

Munn has kind of a weird and interesting resume, but he is NOT a football person. Zero scouting, coaching or playing of football at the professional level in his background. He's a suit.

He's not a Paratici replacement, no overlap in their skillsets at all.

He'd be more of a replacement for Levy, not to pretend to wish that into existence.

Ergh, the "it's a start" "we've got a plan" bollocks has started. We heard all this crap under Paratici/Conte. It will all blow up somehow, Levy will find a way to have fucked up, or to fuck it. Long term we will be back in the same position having won nothing and in a mess.

People who still trust this man to stay out of footballing matters or to get appointments right baffle me.

Powerhouse of football 😂😂

A step in the right direction as long as Levy goes for counselling about his control freak problem. I can just imagine this guy at a purely football meeting thinking he is in charge, whilst Levy is hiding behind the potted plant in the corner of the room...

Anything that moves Daniel away from the footballing decisions is a positive step in the right direction.

Now we need to fix the scouting, recruitment and youth football system, imperative we get a plan and a consistent philosophy for the club to stick with moving forward so any new manager or player coming in slots in perfectly with the way the club is operated.

According to Ally Gold, Munn will be Number 2 to Levy.

Paratici, if his appeal is successful, will report to Munn.

So, the (gardening leave) DoF reports to the (no meaningful football experience) Chief Operating Officer who reports to Levy?

Who is leading the search for our next Head Coach?

I absolutely do not want this Munn geezer in charge of the process.

Who does the new Head Coach - JN, Poch, Slot, Kompany, whoever - report to, and precisely who will sign off on transfers?

This appointment blurs all these lines.

It's just another fine mess, at a critical time for our club.

EDIT: I see Munn is "joining in the summer". So the answer to my questions is presumably that Levy & Joe Lewis' daughter are leading those processes.

What would be your solution to sort out the entire pile of shit that we currently find ourselves in, as in who would prefer DOF wise, manager wise etc...

Levy leaving I will not accept as that's not going to happen obviously...
