As one of the other posters on the Tweet said, they could be about to board a flight to:

1) Glasgow - Postecoglu
2) Dusseldorf - Nagelsmann
3) Barcelona - Enrique
4) Amsterdam - Slot
5) Zurich - Christian Gross...
Or..

Or to one of the three impending flights to Frankfurt for:

We need our very local German correspondent to confirm or deny. - over to you.

They've decided to drive back from the clinic with their new managerial signing hockey legend....
dumb and dumber GIF

Levy and Scott Munn spotted at London City Airport earlier today. Per the reddit thread where I found this tweet, a plane for Düsseldorf departed from their terminal not long after.

Düsseldorf is roughly a 40 minute drive from Colonge, where Nagelsmann's agent is based. Make of that what you will.

Munn could give Levy a run in the ugly fucker
short arse useless prick stakes .

Bit of a pound shop Nagelsmann. Came from the Red Bull project, saved Mainz from relegation and has done pretty well the last couple years, attacking pressball out of a back 3, they just beat the crap out of Bayern the other week.

I'll add him with Oliver Glasner to the "lesser name who actually fits our needs rather well" list.

Thanks for this.

Yes, I did see the Bayern game - they looked quite good but I don't think too many of us would be that inspired by his appointment. I'm fairly sure Levy isn't that stupid...

On the one hand, there's definitely a chance for a lesser-known hire to make a toxic situation even more toxic in short order. That's just the reality of the situation.

On the other hand, I would rather have Bo Svensson, whose tactics and football philosophy are a match for making the best out of our squad and provide a structure for intelligent and well-targeted improvements in the transfer market, than someone like Luis Enrique who fits none of the requirements and would just be a headline-grabbing name allowing Levy to make-believe away the rot at the club for another few months.

Yes, I agree - I like the idea of the lesser name approach but it might just be too much for us (as fans, patience isn't one of our virtues) should things not work out soon. I would take a couple of seasons of '8th' if we were on a proper rebuild but, of course, nothing is guaranteed. Needs a proper DoF in place though.

It can't be overemphasized how essential

1. Being the well known and well liked former player who had captained them to breaking their Wenger-era trophy drought

2. Binning off a bunch of wage-stealing wasters from the club

3. IMMEDIATELY winning the FA cup, the very first opportunity at a trophy he had while in charge

were in incubating Mikel Arteta's credibility and allowing him to just barely survive a bunch of downturns in form.

No one is actually willing to sit through two years of garbage under a new manager, nor should they be. It's just online status-seeking to sound like you're not one of "those" fans.

Yes.

Point 1 buys you some time (do we have an equivalent option?), as does point 3, of course, and that's where Arteta got lucky. However, they still took a risk with him but backed him when it mattered (point 2). Levy's hubris would never allow a 'point 2' to happen for us, whereas it should be a matter of course for any football club. Unfortunately, we aren't just any football club.

At the moment I would still take 2 years of rebuilding as long as point 2 happened, and we see a style of football that most of use want.
