Didn't Woolwich finish 8th and are now 2nd? Football can change very quickly.

If we finish 8th it will be our lowest finish in 15 years. One bad season.

Last season we finished 4th. Now our days out of the elite are over?

Anything to jump on the bandwagon by the journalists.

Things always change quickly in football but the doom and gloom merchants will act like the world is caving in and we are odds on for relegation, woe is us etc...😫

You didn't really answer his question.
Do you think the media should only report positively on the state of the club, or should they report it as it is and call the owners out for their failings.
After all, the fans are being let down and taken for mugs, surely you don't want the press to just turn a blind eye to it. That's the last thing we need.

Every purported big club that is struggling gets these articles. I think we've actually got away pretty lightly given the utter state of the club with manager rants, interim managers getting sacked, a dodgy DoF having to clear off and one shocking performance after another. Man Utd last season had it much worse, Woolwich similar before that. The clubs in a mess, cant see much point being in denial about that.

I've already noticed alot of posters not renewing memberships etc.

Hopefully that means the booing will stop in the stadium and fans can actually get behind the team rather than booing all the time when a pass doesn't go to someone.

Loooool one bad season.

7th the season before last btw, and barely clinging on to 6th the season before that. Numerous coaches sacked in that time.

And btw the only reason we’ve stayed up there? Kane. Guess who isn’t signing a new contract? Kane.

So yeah, it’s just called living in the real world. Finishing 4th last season was the exception to the post Poch reality.

Why would I mention finishing 4th in a reply to a post about when we finished 4th?

Everyone but you and a couple of other mindless, boring happy clappers are already on the "doom and gloom" train, otherwise known as Planet Earth.

Salah isn't on his way out though, Kane is. Giving us one more year (because he has no choice) and then off.

Son's over 30 & has had a poor season. The only reason we werent 13th/14th this season is Harry Kane.

When we were flying high we had articles about our players leaving, Levy not paying the going rate, Poch linked to other clubs, Kane leaving, Kane/Dele diving etc...the narrivte doesn't change whether we are on the up or not.

Do you understand how the media works, they only report what people want read, and they will publish articles because that subject is trending, not because they give a fuck about our club.

So folk who are clicking and sharing this nonsense are very much part of the problem, Spurs fans buying into this shit and lauding these hacks as if they've just written the Holy Grail are just assisting the algorithm and are helping to feed back into the negativity that surrounds this club.

Fair enough, but believe me it happens near where I sit and I'm Paxton Lower and it drives me mad the negativity in the stadium at times,

I get the frustration around the club currently but it was happening even at the start of Conte's management. Conte's first game against Leeds and there was booing at half time. Need to eradicate that!!!
