ENIC have fucked up the football operations of this club in the last 5 years, they aren't taking dividends out the club, they aren't selling our best players, they aren't recklessly not tieing up our assets to long term contracts.

Of course the ideal scenario is that we get competent owners who run the club the way we want them to, that's a scenario we'd all want but then that would be too easy wouldn't it? It's just a weird fetish wanting our rivals to win the league in any scenario regardless.

Look, they aren't going anywhere. I hope they can do something and make it worth watching football again. Just don't see anything to suggest they can.

Really, what they have done should be like a beacon of how to build a club as a responsible business but through their own incompetence and also not understanding when they had a manager to really back and gamble, they have blown it and here we are: football is dominated by nation-state owners with endless pockets and massive influence in the political sphere of football. You can say that Leicester proves the underdog has a chance but now look at them.

Yep, still some cant see it. We had 2 seasons in the 90s we had a relegation fight. Other than that this season is exactly the same. Reminds me completely of the Francis and Graham years, boring bloody football, meaningless end of season games, fans hating the chairman and just wanting the season to finish. Football wise its basically 1996 to 2004.

But yeah, I wonder if he thinks he's doing a good job now? Probably because in his mind football is just "hard" like he said in the documentary.

In his mind it's probably all just a matter of bad luck and bad timing and all the big bad oil money clubs preventing us from progressing.

Nothing to do with the fact he is completely incompetent and past it when it comes to football matters.

I had the exact same feeling today as when we drew 0-0 with blackburn on the last game of the 04/05 season.
Just utterly pointless making up the numbers shit.
