Levy has utter contempt for fan criticism. His view is exactly in line with what you'd hear from Simon Jordan smugly rolling his eyes at a Talk Sport caller. That's the viewpoint. But yeah, I wonder if he thinks he's doing a good job now? Probably because in his mind football is just "hard" like he said in the documentary.
In his mind it's probably all just a matter of bad luck and bad timing and all the big bad oil money clubs preventing us from progressing.
He's also got a very bad habit of always viewing every problem in a vacuum. Every decision made independently, adding up to never any coherent strategy.
He also absolutely believes his Spurs can't be judged against the "big money clubs", but lacks the awareness to understand what that means for the total misalignment between the club's public presentation, pricing, business practices, and any goals of success.
To see what a colossal failure this is requires the perspective of a sportsman, and Levy doesn't have a single sporting bone in his body. It all flows from that reality.
