Aye, we went that long without buying players. Undeniably a fact. Who was responsible? Did Levy say no to everyone the manager wanted? Or did the manager turn down scout recommendations? Why didn’t we buy anyone?

Which players did we buy without the manager wanting them? Which manager? Who was responsible? Levy? DoF? Scouts?

Was the Stratford move serious? Or was it putting pressure on the council?

Fair enough on ESL. No idea what our motivation was on that. We are a big club so we’d better act like one I suppose?

What we do know is that Poch had the final say … do you think it’s remotely possible that a manager who just got us to the CL final wanted to push on ? Considered that he could get players that he actually wanted , ? Did that not coincide with his “ outbursts “ ? Am I a manager or a coach ?

The club purchase thing over manager is pretty bloody obvious , they don’t play them but I do love you Abs

Why else are they still here? You don't hang around for 22 years making no money, showing no signs of leaving over some wacko plan to sell on.
If their goal was to grow the club and sell for a profit, the latest, absolute latest they should've sold up was when ground broke for the stadium. Once all the planning permission was sorted, once the finance was there, once the team were in the Champions League
That was the time to sell. But they stayed.
My opinion is they probably should have sold up during the Redknapp era

There doesn't appear to be any appetite for a sale and that's in direct conflict with the theory that's their masterplan

And absolutely everyone attached to the club shoulders the blame. Everyone. Not just some wee bald fella.

The truth is, we all claim to know stuff about what’s going on but we know fuck all. Opinions (and that’s all they are) are posted as facts because they support what we think.

If Poch had the final say, maybe that was a no. Maybe he thought the squad that got us to the party in the first place was good enough to go again. How fucking amazing would he be then? Take that ultimate next step and truly be able to say “I didn’t buy success”. The worlds biggest ego boost.

Maybe he asked for players and Levy told him to get fucked. Maybe he just didn’t like chubby cheeks anymore. Maybe he thought his manager basically resigning the week before the final was bad craic. No clue.

As for players not playing, again fuck knows. Maybe they are shite in training? Not fit enough? Giving backchat? Too inexperienced? Too old? Fat? Thin? No idea. None of us do. Every signing is a club signing, that’s all we know.

You can say that everyone shoulders the blame, but everyone except Levy and his cronies at the top get the chop when they fail. He on the other hand, he gets a pay rise and bonus and slaps himself on the back.

Aye and that’s a shite state of affairs. He should be held as accountable as everyone else. But he isn’t. And until Joe Lewis runs out of patience (very unlikely), we are where we are.

One of many reasons to want the club to be sold to someone else. More than understandable.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if he actually got off his high horse, climbed out of his self-imposed bubble and addressed the fans properly every quarter instead of via some stupid end of season letter or a uni Q&A, he might get a bit more sympathy. Hold his hand up and admit that he's fucked up over and over again and what he intends to do to course correct - which could include stepping aside and letting those with more skill take over.

I am convinced ENIC have a long term plan to maximise the entire stadium development and all commercial opportunities. After that they will sell for a couple of extra billion.
If you don’t believe that, ask yourself why the stadium was designed to host NFL games. Its so that an NFL franchise can take up residence. Thats part of the long game. Breaking away into a European Superleague is another aim.

Mate they bought it got about 20M, leveraged shares to buy the final 15M and it’s now worth somewhere between 4BN to maybe 6BN? The 7M salary Levy gets is just expenses compared to this
 
The club needs a revolution on the playing side. JN and a good fit as his DoF seems like the way to go, if Levy can get out of his own way.
 
How could anyone feel sorry for levy and enic. Theyve taken out huge loans secured on the club and spent your money to make themselves richer and clearly have no fucking idea what they are doing football wise.

There is absolutely zero chance they will invest in the club, though I'm sure they will lie about it. They will tell us the next manager will have a 300m budget but fail to sign him till August , then bs us about there was no time for signings.

No European football, no manager and no DoF, how do we really think next season is gonna go? Still we have the stadium with it's special atmosphere... And some cocks will defend them regardless, namely Woolwich fans...
