At this point Levy has been caught red handed scratching and sniffing just one too many times. It's time for him to get a bidet, be the bigger man and move onAny shrewd purchaser will just wait for it to get worse too.
Levy is up shit creek.

Some people would like to be Leicester and have 50 years of mediocrity, two trophies, then another 50 years of mediocrity. That’s known in game theory as maximax - maximising your best outcomes.
Others would like to build slowly and be in European trophies year after year with occasional great teams when the stars align. I know our position in the world and value consistency. That’s known as maximin - maximising your worst outcomes. And indeed maximising your average outcomes.
We’re just different. Your position is fine and so is mine. No need to be precious.
If he does believe that then I am seriously going to be concerned.
No. I am however proud that the progress we’ve made over 20+ years has been made through our own blood, sweat and tears. No handouts. No trust funds. Just our own hard work. So, wait...is that what you think Levy and ENIC represent? A company that wants to make a fairer society?
Do you want to deal with the substance of my post or pick on an illustrative example?Oh , I didn’t realise that you had the gift of then seeing into the future … Leicestershire, 50 years of mediocrity? I don’t really know what you’re offering there ? Factual results to possible outcomes plus ….What our promise is ?
I tried to shape my paragraph to your 2nd … it’s not great but all considering![]()

However I am saying that asking for oil state owners is asking to profit from something that is killing the game.

You are like the mum saying why are those 999 soldiers not marching in step with my son .Any reasonable person would believe we can’t be judged against the big money clubs. That should be the belief of every spurs fan. Why have you put that in quotation marks?
Pricing is high because London is the most expensive football-loving city in the world with extremely high demand and the best stadium in the world.
The other 3 points are very vague.
Joe Lewis for PM , land of milk and honey as he works for a fairer society. Food bank Joe as I am pretty sure they don’t call himI don’t think that’s a popular view but there are certainly others who want an oil state to finance some success.
To me the political analogy is that we write rules to favour the rich. Your position is fuck the middle and working class … just make me a billionaire!
My approach is, let’s make a fairer society.
We have some common ground here.It isn't killing the game, it HAS killed the game, well...as we knew it anyway.
The "game" isn't going to be saved, that is a fools quest on a road paved with sadness and disappointment.
And either Levy is too sentimental to understand that, too out of touch to understand it or is completely aware that it's a fools quest and just keeps playing the "we must defeat the evil bad guys" card because he wants to hide behind it for business reasons, forging a "doing things the right way" narrative for legacy fans to cling on to.
The ESL and our willingness to join it told me everything I need to know about how Levy feels on a moral compass level about the big money clubs; this isn't about the game being killed in his eyes (even though that's how he will spin it because it emotionally resonates with legacy football fans) it's about ENIC and himself wanting to compete without having to match that absurd level of funding and wealth.
Whilst I respect that from a business perspective, football isn't a traditional business model anymore, it's a landscape saturated in corruption and awash with endless sums of money, it cannot be defeated, the money involved would never allow that.
If it were to be defeated it would lead to the complete collapse of modern football as we know it, I would actually welcome that but again, it's not going to happen is it? If we are talking about dealing with facts, THAT is a fact, maybe an uncomfortable one but a fact nonetheless.
I don't disagree that Levy has built the club in a sustainable and respectable way, that cannot be disputed.
But I am also not going to pretend he isn't the very definition of a pure capitalist, none of this has been done for reasons of moral purity of the people OR the game of football.
To think that would be extremely naive and would be ignoring reality imo.
Let me throw it back to you - what progress do you see in the club since 2001?How do you define progress?
Being the club in the most debt in world football?
Having the greatest strike force in the history of the pl without winning anything?
Charging the highest prices for sport in the world?
Breaking the record of not purchasing any players in any elite league of the world?
Having a stadium build 2 years late at nearly double the initial price.
Selling Berbatov and Keane and getting Frazier Campbell on loan?
Having more managers and caretaker managers on your watch than any other chairman in history?
Losing to Brentford at home 3-1?
Whats your parameters?
I mean. I could go on and on.
Idiot.
When the going gets tough.....
Some of our new found friends have thrown the towel in already.
So what are Man City and Newcastle currently doing because that is what I want at this juncture.
City were maximaxing I believe; winning things years ago and then yoyoing up and down the leagues.
I'm not sure what the Toon were doing.
Fuck Levy's projects.
It's like going home with the best looking women in the club, watching her get undressed and then getting thrown out into the street, when you thought you were getting your end away, and being ignored by her for years whilst cultivating a drink problem.
His plan is shit.
Through thick or thin or GTFO.One of the only good thing of turning shot will be getting rid of these hangers on.
Through thick or thin or GTFO.
Actually...maybe that should be our actual motto.
Your approach is to talk shit...you've no fucking idea about economics and that's clear to anyone who does... what is fair? Is it equality?I don’t think that’s a popular view but there are certainly others who want an oil state to finance some success.
