Semantics lol That's literally the point...his money can compete he just chooses to run his business self sustainably whilst Todd chooses to run his business like a chav who's just won the lottery.
They have allowed clubs to by pass the fit and proper person threshold, well at least in my opinion and a good many others . I do not see that changing do you ?
They haven't won anything, but I'd say given their size, their achievements this season are probably more significant than anything we've done in the Premier league era.
They haven't spent bucket loads of cash, yet have come up through the leagues, play decent football and at least 1 of them will be in Europe for the first time ever next season.
They are the absolute model of well run clubs. Especially Brighton, who "lost" their manager and star players only to improve, rather than fall away.
If it was a team like these 2, but based abroad somewhere, and stories emerged about us being impressed by their model and emulating it, everyone would be happy.

I agree with that point. There’s been a failure to regulate. I’ve made that point in here too - until we get meaningful regulation we won’t see a more competitive league. Which is why asking for us to be backed by a state is ridiculous - you’re asking for more of the thing that is wrong. You don’t care about what’s fair or right or good as long as you personally benefit.
Liverpool also run their football operations in the same way using money ball and data analysis but I guess that doesn't give folk a hard on to bash the club now does it...
