We are a top 8 club. No shame in that. It's historically our position. It's not like we are finishing 15th. We have simply fell back to our more natural position rather than overachieving by finishing top 4.
I agree, but that's in terms of league position - we've always overachieved in terms of cups, were all time top in FA cups won until fairly recently. 1 cup in 23 years is definite under achievement from ENIC.

Sooner or later, submissive fans are gonna have to muster up some self-respect, take off the dog collar and get on the fucking street to get this bald conman cunt out of our club.

Totally agree the cups have been a major let down. ☹️
I dont know if that is a directive from above that league position is more important?
Tbf we have reached a few semis and finals but it's not been good enough.
A cup win would raise the mood big time.

Conte definitely threw the conference league to concentrate on top 4 and I can 100% understand why.
We had a great chance of winning that if we had wanted.
it's perhaps kinda seen as a bit of a joke though and maybe we are too big for it?

Ngl if West Ham win it I am gonna feel miffed.

Fact is we need some silverware.

How did he throw the conference league?
He wasn't in charge for most of the games and we didn't even get to finish playing all our games.

What supporting evidence was there in the Cambridge talk? I don’t recall that.

The answer « always » comes back. What you mean is Ledley King disagrees with you. So will most coaches at spurs and they don’t do so because they’re in the pay - they say so privately in trusted circles. It’s people like our ENIC our warriors that they deplore.
If Levy and people in his employ want to offer public defenses of his recent decision making, great, I do disagree, but everyone is entitled to their view.

But the cry from fans isn't "justify your shitty decisions", it's "what's the plan here?"

Post-hoc justifications for previous failures aren't a plan.

There have been a number of statements in club communications about a club-wide analysis of football operations that has spurred a restructuring, of which Scott Munn is a principal part. Are we, uh, ever going to hear any details about that? Are we ever going to hear from Munn?

You never criticise your boss? You can’t imagine that people would criticise their boss?

Be a serious person.

You go out in public to criticise your boss? In the media? And you think you’d keep your job for long when that man is Daniel Levy?

Be a serious person.

Conte was the last man to strike out at the board - he was sacked a week later.

You want a detailed strategy? It’s unclear what the ask is. Are other clubs giving detailed public strategies?

Maybe wait for Munn to start his job before getting upset at whether we’ll hear from Munn. So much upset over something that’s not happened!!!

Did you read the post you originally replied to? How can we have productive conversations if you won’t read before hanging out your agenda?

I’m not bothered about your made up crap about what coaches at spurs privately say - it’s shill lies.

Ledley said nice things because he’s employed by the club. Lots of ex players and coaches say nasty things because they’re not.

LEVYITE SHILL.

Are other clubs giving detailed public strategies?
Other clubs aren't a long-running con against their supporters. As I've documented previously other clubs are dramatically more transparent, but that's not even really the point.

Fair play to them if they provide some detail and candor about the reorganization of the football operation they've used as a shield in their terse and substandard public missives.

What about this guy? Meant to have some cash.

Zelensky being our chairman would have us with a £150bl cash injection tbh

Do you really believe these things you’re typing or are you tired/emotional right now?

I’d love to see an example of the type of transparency you’re looking for from another club.

You think it’s false that coaches at spurs are more even-handed about Levy and privately critical of the ignorance of fans. You think these are lies. Fair enough.

If it WERE true that coaches thought that, would it change your view at all? Would you accept that it’s not because they’re paid by the club? Would it change your view even 1%? Purely hypothetical - i know you don’t accept the premise.

If you seriously think players, coaches the tea lady actually think levys doing a good job for the football club, your more deluded (troll) than I thought. In public they will tow the company line in private they can see, just like the fans can.

It would depend on what they’re saying. If it’s more Redknapp level stuff ie ‘oh but the facilities are great!’ then no, not really.

If all the coaches behind closed doors (or a majority) were full of praise about how Levy runs the football side of the club, then yes.

That's just the first google search that popped up.

Let's make the line clear: if any of Levy, Munn or the (presumably) soon to arrive Sporting Director faces questions from a journalist not employed by the club, over which they don't have editorial control, then I consider my complaint addressed.

Paratici never did that once. Has Levy ever?

This is bare minimum shit.
