Good thinking.

Someone photoshop a spurs shirt on him and get it going viral. This could be our chance.
Did Spurs "natural position" change as a result of the stadium project?

If it didn't, why did we bother doing it?
Exactly.

The whole point of the stadium was to compete with the big clubs.

Now Levy and the board are crippled by that pressure and want to hide behind being other clubs for revenue or whatever.

It’s the same reason they never get over the line with top end recruits.

How are you unable to process the basic effects of having a bigger stadium?
I'm the one sitting here listening to posts that we're a "top 8 club" despite being no worse than 5th and within 5-10% of 3rd in the league revenue tables every season since the stadium opened. (And a couple beforehand due to Poch+Wembley)

Boy, I dunno, feels like I'm being subjected to some non-civil discourse here. But no, that couldn't be.

Putting the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Europa Conference League for want of squad investment is like putting the Mona Lisa in a bank lobby for want of a rental fee for a gallery.

But, yeah, Levy's an excellent and shrewd businessman who does an excellent job with financials and off the pitch, just need a figurehead DOF to run recruitment, of course

I think we did it to try & generate extra revenue.
Why did Woolwich build a new stadium?
Why did Man U & Liverpool expand theirs.

Why are Everton trying to build a new stadium even though they are threatened with relegation?
It's what the 'traditional bigger clubs' do to try & compete against new money?

So historically we are the 7th biggest club in the Country FACT!
But ok because of stadium we should be 5th. So we overachieved under Poch & last year under Conte?

Now we are underchieving by a place as we have the 7th most expensive squad in the league boo hoo.

It's hardly Levy's fault that Chelski, Man City & now Newcastle throw obscene amounts of money around & have totally corrupted the playing field🙄.

You sound like the epitome of an entitled bellend who cannot grasp logic🤔

Look man without having a go 'new money' has fucked the game.
The 3 by far most successful clubs trophy wise Liverpool, Man U & Woolwich have all struggled recently.
Liverpool 1 title in how many years? Woolwich not won the league post Emirates . Man U the biggest club in the Country not won the title since Ferguson.

I don’t ignore the negatives.

I’m not trolling because I disagree with you. Read my very many reasonable posts - we just disagree.

Stop calling your OWN posts level headed, reasonable, intelligent etc .. you are NOT a valid judge of this, and it just makes you look incredibly conceited.

ENIC in lot have a habit of portraying themselves as great. That's now two of your lot carded for making fun of people for disabilities and using it as an insult - very fucking classy.

Fair points, but Levy and the front office certainly hasn't been as efficient at managing the money they do spend as, for example, Brighton. The roster if full of players who don't seem to fit together. It's like some took one box full of 75% of a Jaguar and another box with 25% of Chevy Volt, dumped them together and expected a ride home.
