Pointless graphic, pointless debate.

The teams that win in each league have the highest wage bills and spend the highest fees on individual transfers.

The club’s financial model under ENIC isn’t built to seriously compete with the teams that consistently win in the premier league. It’s built to be around the fringes and hopefully over achieve into the Top 4 as often as it can.

The stadium and training ground may be among the best in the world, the ambition to be among the really big clubs is yet to catch up.
Once again a different argument from you.

The original point made was that Conte got top 4 on a shoe string, which is patently untrue.

The second point was that only an idiot would take one years spend as a benchmark.
That graphic shows we do spend.

He signed more than two players

Purchased players: 12
Players with fee: 9
Transfer expenditure: €206,900,000
Fee per player: €22,988,889
Chosen : 01.11.2021 - 25.03.2023
Also lol @ seeing Romero in that list…

Udogie was signed and sent back to Udinese. Spence wasn’t even a player Conte wanted but we bought him anyway.

2 freebies and a couple of shit loans, yes great backing.

Really don't understand how this idea about Conte being backed stuck around.

You can say Richarlison and Bissouma were big transfers but the backing for Conte was supposedly under the premise of having a serious go at winning big trophies.

Is anyone seriously arguing that Conte was backed to the level of a team trying to win the big trophies?? Come on now.

If you are arguing he was backed in line with a team trying to scrape 4th? Then we can have a conversation.
