Amazing to think that that 300m he just paid could of easily been used to fund the clubs spending on players in the recent past. That sort of money, if spent at least fairly wisely, would elevate our club massively for 5+ years. That is title challenging fuck you money right here and it's being used to get his ass out of trouble instead for being a mug!Gosh....silly me for believing those that justified a lack of investment due to a lack of financial liquidity for our owner.

If the reports are to be believed, Lewis is having his private security violently attack folks that want access to a lake on his estate/compound in Argentina - a lake that by law should be open to the public.
Lewis head of security is supposedly quoted as saying “We are going to defend the private property with the Winchester in the hands, with blood if necessary. “ A court has ruled public access to the lake must be allowed but Lewis is pretty cozy with (I assume bribes) top level Argentina politicians so the ruling isn’t being enforced by the authorities.
Lewis estate is in a pretty isolated part of Argentina so the English language press on this is pretty light. Anyone that speaks Spanish and has time to waste - let us know what the Spanish language press coverage is on this.
I don’t think there’s anything left to defend here anymore - ENIC/Lewis seems right down there near the bottom of EPL owners on the morality scale. Although I’m sure the the Levybots will keep making excuses for ENIC and telling us why they are great .
